The Kindness Lock-In ((RFish))

Camille was still against Lochlan's proposal to introduce a dueling system, so she decided to throw one big, supervised sleepover in the gym! Since Discordia had to be patted down, everyone would be patted down as they entered. Any drugs, wands, anything potentially dangerous would be confiscated until the end of the lock-in. As it was near the end of the week, students were told to grab their pajamas and anything they needed for sleep before coming to the gym following their last class. There'd be no regular dinner due to the nature of the event, so pizzas were being prepared in the kitchens. The gym was under a spell to magically expand to accommodate all of the safe, clean fun that would be in the gym from now to the morning hours! She thought this would be an excellent opportunity for all of the students at Hogwarts to find out how much they have in common with their fellow classmates; she wanted them to get along instead of fighting!

In the gym was a table full of light snacks and treats along with various non-alcoholic beverages that were warded against any spiking attempts. Various activities were set up throughout the gym such as wizard's chess, gobstones, skittles, ice breaker activities, and so much more! The gym was adorned in star-and-moon decorations and various soothing, colorful lights. This was going to be so fun! For the actual sleeping part, students would be divided by gender, so they'd sleep on the side of the gym that led to their appropriate changing room. Otherwise, house boundaries were virtually non-existent for this event to promote harmony and togetherness.

Stepping to her podium in cute, casual loungewear, Camille waved at the students and exclaimed, "I hope you're all excited for a whole entire night of safe, clean fun! Now that you're all in here, you are unable to go out until tomorrow morning. I hope we all use this chance to get to know each other and get along! Have fun!"

"Let's go," he murmured quickly, not wanting to waste a single second longer stuck with everybody there. Once inside the boys' changing rooms, Lien had a good look around. Fortunately there wasn't anyone in there at the moment.

Macmillan walked around some more until he found Atticus.

"What the hell was this school thinking?"

Nodding in agreement, he followed Lien down into the changing room. Last time he went down there with someone... In retrospect, that wasn't very enjoyable sex. He felt like a robot.

"I think it was closer to the showers. Very odd spot, but you couldn't see out of it."

Emery spotted the boy from the library in the gym and she let out a smile. She didn’t mind making conversation. “I remember you from the library.” she said giving him a huge smile. As much as she enjoyed Ethan it was nice to have another conversation. “What do you think about this?” she asked.

He nodded at Macmillan.

"I can only think of one thing to do to pass the time, and the next vaguely gay guy who looks in my direction will do at this point." He sighed. Then he started giving Macmillan the eye, smirking.

"It'd be better than just standing around up here."

He glanced around and then towards the changing rooms.

"No homo, bro."

"Hmm, all right."

He went towards the showers. There was a window there, but it was shut. He expected that it was probably locked.

"How about that?" Looking around some more, he pointed to a vent in the wall.

James dropped his jaw as Lien pointed out the vent.

"You're fucking brilliant, Lien. Do ya think we'd be able to open it?"

Better yet, would it be big enough to fit the two of them?

Atticus blinked in surprise. He had only been joking - or perhaps pushing his luck - but he never expected Macmillan to actually respond to it. Was he serious?

"Come on..." he whispered, heading towards the changing rooms. When he entered, he thought he heard James's voice and frowned.

Macmillan followed Atticus towards the changing rooms; he was finding the gym to be extremely stuffy.

He observed the area and shrugged making his way towards one of the stalls.

He had managed to calm himself down to a certain degree. Any blood lust that he had was purely greed: he'd already had his fill earlier today with the animal blood. He was fine. He was in control.

A girl was standing before him. "Oh, hello... yes, I remember," he said, moving his eyes away from her, "I'm feeling a little uncomfortable if truth be told. It must be even more so for you." As she was a girl around a lot of hormonal teenage boys...

Sitting in front of the vent on his knees, Lien inspected the bolts on the vent cover. "Perhaps if we had some sort of tool..." He heard one of the stall doors banging and looked up at James.

As they had quite a few objects confiscated, James tried to think of something that could unscrew the bolts.

"Er, how sharp are your glass frames?"

That was the best he could come up with.

He heard Lien as well. Closing his eyes briefly, he opened them again and followed Macmillan into the stall. He looked at him. This was slightly weird, and he didn't think it would be. Usually he would have got on with it already, but he was just standing there awkwardly. He sighed. "Sorry. I don't know what I was thinking."

It turned out they weren't the only ones who got the idea to go down there.

"It's fine, bro. At least we can hear each other in here..."

"Good idea," he said, smiling. He took off his glasses, and handed them to James. Then he was blinking heavily, the room suddenly a blur.

"Yeah," he said, smiling. He put the lid down on the toilet and sat there. "I didn't think you would actually want to... you know."

James sat on the floor with his legs crossed beside Lien as he examined the glasses to figure out its sharpest point. However, before he could figure that out, he couldn't help but put them on for a bit.

"Holy shit!"

Those lens were strong! He began poking at one of the ends. "Aight, so you know how it bends or whatever it does? If we angle it right enough, it could be small enough for the bolt."

Amara was pissed! They had taken both of her flasks that she had tried to sneak into the Great Hall. And she had been very careful to hide them too since her pajamas weren’t exactly the most modest of pajamas… and still, they had found them. She stood just inside the hall with her arms crossed over her chest, pouting that her things had been taken.

Lakelyn was actually pretty excited about the little sleepover in the Great Hall! It would give her a chance to have fun and hang out with her friends who were in other houses. She did feel a little odd not having her wand on her but she was still excited as she looked around for any of her friends she could talk to. Maybe she could even find Blake! That would be fun!

Gabby hated the fact that they had taken her wand as she had walked into the Great Hall. What was she supposed to do without her wand?!? But at least this meant she got to have a sleepover with Aquila! That was the bright side since they never got to during the school year. She walked in, wearing her pajamas that were probably a bit more revealing than others who weren’t her dorm mates would expect but it wasn’t like she was getting special pjs just for this! She spotted Aquila and made a beeline to her. ”Aquila! There you are!” she said with a smile.

Aquila squealed when she saw her best friend! "Gabby!" She immediately pulled her into a brief, tight hug. "This is so exciting, isn't it? We're going to make so many memories tonight!"

"I don't know. I had a feeling, but I just didn't think you'd actually agree to it... with me."

He shrugged, laughing.

"Suppose I can say this now without there being a chance you'll freak out - but you look really good. And you kind've drive me crazy walking around the dorm with your shirt off all the time. I liked thinking you were being a tease."

"You'll have to do it, I can hardly see. You'll just have to be my eyes for the night until I can fix them."

There were purposes for wands other than just hexing. Merlin.

Lien sweetly rubbed over his eyes.
