Slipping Away [Open]

School had only barely just begun for the year and Amara already found herself wishing it was over. She hated the constraints of having to be up early, having to be in her dorm room by a certain time. It really was not something that she enjoyed. Finally, classes were over for the day and she was able to slip away without anyone seeing her, or so she hoped. It was already chilly despite the fact it was a little early for cold weather but the wind was blowing and a misty rain made the grounds darker than they should be in this early afternoon hour. She was hoping that would keep anyone from looking for her. She made her way down to the black lake, pulling her jacket tight around her to ward off the dampness. She looked over her shoulder, making sure she was far enough away from the castle that she might not be seen before slipping a flask from the inner pocket of her jacket. She opened the flask and took a drink, letting the alcohol warm her from the inside out.

Savannah was wandering around the grounds when she found herself by the lake. She tightened her coat around her as the breeze picked up a bit, causing a chill. She saw a shadow in the fog and moved closer to find one of her brothers friends. Amanda, she thought it was, "Hello." She said, to make her presence known

Amara spotted a figure in the fog ahead of her. Someone was standing by the lake but Amara couldn’t be sure who it was. So, to be safe, she tucked the flask she had just drank from back into the inner pocket of her jacket so that it wouldn’t be noticed on the chance that it was a prefect. As the other girl got closer she realized that she was vaguely familiar. She was Ashton’s sister if she wasn’t mistaken. Amara smiled at the other girl. ”Hello. I almost didn’t see you out here. It’s pretty foggy.” she said in a friendly enough manner.

Savannah nodded but then realized she probably couldn't be well seen because of the fog, "Yeah it is. Also, you don't have to hide it. I'm used to the sound of my brother rushing to hide his flask. It's whatever." She said with a shrug. She wasn't sure if she should really be encouraging underage drinking. But, part of her wanted the other girl to think she was cool
