First topic message reminder :

Luna was sad when she heard Addanc didn't make the team. The kid was a tank who could slam everyone in Quidditch, and sure she was friends with Mackenzie. She just wished she would have went with talent and not pure looks, she had been coming back from the Quididtitch pitch.

She walked into the common room and spotted Addanc.

“Hey Addanc?”

"Like I said, it's all about Death Eater stuff. If your mum was more traditional with the threat of arranged marriage, they'd be all over you..."

Addanc rolled his eyes.

"I wonder if our headmaster has any role in who got on the team."

"My father left before my mother could get in an arranged marriage. My dad is rich and I think they are just jealous due to non purist family being slightly more rich." she let out a sigh, "I hate our house."

She gave him a bit of a look. "He praises his daughters like they are going out of style. You saw how the twins were nothing but two scary twins who fuck people."

"I don't think that's why they're jealous. Fuck, my family still has plenty of wealth, we just don't use it as a status symbol like my cousins do."

Addanc wanted to whack at something with his beater's bat. It was too bad that Hector wasn't around for that.

"I hope they get tested for STIs."

"They just are so old school and why do arranged marriages still exist?" she asked, genuinely confused. None of it made sense to Luna, but she supposed for people in her mother's circumstance, it came in handy. She just wished they would stop being so posh and pompous. "We are the only Slytherins who embody the good within the house."

She let out a chuckle, "You really think that will happen?"

"Their bloods are becoming diluted, purebloods are going extinct. The maths is simple! It's to hold onto whatever purity and power they have left... That's why Hector's such a bloody arsehole!"

He shrugged, shaking his head. "Oh yeah, they don't get sex ed at home. They dunno what an STI is."

Luna knew Danc brought up a good point and she nodded. “I am well aware and it’s because their bloodline is getting less and less each thirty years. Although I am positive that we will still have purebloods the next forty years with how close our house is and I don’t get what is wrong with being half?”

It’s not like they were muggleborns.

“I just don’t get why we can’t be loving and I will be real I don’t think everyone knows sex Ed.”

She did, but she choose not to listen.

"Being half means closer proximity to muggles. That's why it's an issue. They overlook mine 'cause our Sacred 28 status means we don't have much muggle heritage."

Addanc stretched his arms and legs out.

"I heard we're supposed to startin' this term."

She had been going to Sex Ed for a while, but hadn’t exactly listened. She really didn’t think of it and just went with the flow with the moment. “I can say I am not good with it.”

She had done it unprotected a couple times.

“What is like being part of the Sacred Twenty Eight?”

Addanc shrugged. Did she want to hear the truth or the expected answer she'd get from any other Slytherin?

"It doesn't mean shit, honestly. All it means is that my family's more inbred than others, me and my parents aren't, and that we're more likely to have wealth. That's it."

Luna let out a bit of a groan, she didn’t understand any of it.


“Halfbloods are super rich too. It just depends on what kind of job you have.”

"It doesn't even matter for you 'cause you can't list your entire family tree. I can't be arsed to remember mine," Addanc pointed out. "Most half-bloods don't pay that much attention to their lineage."
