Magical Britain has progressed significantly in its years of reconstruction under the Shacklebolt and Granger administrations; Hogwarts reopened swiftly following the conclusion of the Second Wizarding World, welcoming hundreds of students since Autumn 1998 including the offspring of the war's revered heroes and shunned enemies. Lord Voldemort's surviving kin have worked hard to prove to the wizarding world that there is nothing to fear from them, culminating in Lochlan Riddle taking the position of Headmaster following McGonagall's retirement.

To the average person, all appears to be perfect between burgeoning advancements in magical society and pureblood supremacists seemingly learning their lesson by keeping a lower profile to hold onto their wealth and remaining power. Some are beginning to wonder if the current state of the world is too good to be true. Every tradition and value known to be fact will be tested whether it's in the Hogwarts corridors or through the streets of Diagon Alley. Who will make it out unscathed?
