The Kindness Lock-In ((RFish))

((Being RFish, posts are allowed, and encouraged, to be short and sweet! This post is just on the longer side for exposition purposes c:))

Camille was still against Lochlan's proposal to introduce a dueling system, so she decided to throw one big, supervised sleepover in the gym! Since Discordia had to be patted down, everyone would be patted down as they entered. Any drugs, wands, anything potentially dangerous would be confiscated until the end of the lock-in. As it was near the end of the week, students were told to grab their pajamas and anything they needed for sleep before coming to the gym following their last class. There'd be no regular dinner due to the nature of the event, so pizzas were being prepared in the kitchens. The gym was under a spell to magically expand to accommodate all of the safe, clean fun that would be in the gym from now to the morning hours! She thought this would be an excellent opportunity for all of the students at Hogwarts to find out how much they have in common with their fellow classmates; she wanted them to get along instead of fighting!

In the gym was a table full of light snacks and treats along with various non-alcoholic beverages that were warded against any spiking attempts. Various activities were set up throughout the gym such as wizard's chess, gobstones, skittles, ice breaker activities, and so much more! The gym was adorned in star-and-moon decorations and various soothing, colorful lights. This was going to be so fun! For the actual sleeping part, students would be divided by gender, so they'd sleep on the side of the gym that led to their appropriate changing room. Otherwise, house boundaries were virtually non-existent for this event to promote harmony and togetherness.

Stepping to her podium in cute, casual loungewear, Camille waved at the students and exclaimed, "I hope you're all excited for a whole entire night of safe, clean fun! Now that you're all in here, you are unable to go out until tomorrow morning. I hope we all use this chance to get to know each other and get along! Have fun!"

Lazar cleaned his glasses excited that it would be a lot more difficult for MacKenna and his friends to mess with him. Now he just had to find @Thalia Tremlett-Chang ! Maybe they can recruit for the squad while stuck in the gym all night!

"Thalia? Where are you?!"

Near the bleachers, Marilyn was putting her hair up in a ponytail hoping she wouldn't have to see Finnigan's gross, ashy hands all over her Wadeykins. She hated her so much for stealing her man!

Did this lock-in mean she still had to uphold her prefect duties? Deryn had no idea! She looked around the gym and waved. "Hi! Do you want to chat?!" she yelled excitedly.

Louis was surprised but glad to be spending the night inside of the gym with all of his friends and family. Now that he had his own dormitory, he realised how much he missed waking up and being around other people, saying good morning to them. He was looking at the drinks and turned to someone. "This really is something different. I'm glad we get to spend some time all together."

Macmillan was standing near a game of gobstones with a cup of punch in hand; it felt weird to have his wand confiscated. It made him feel like he was in Azkaban. He wasn't the most optimistic about this lock-in.

This fucking sucked. He had a lot of stuff confiscated, including all the things he bought from Zonko's a few weeks ago, and some alcohol he tried to sneak in. He dug his hands inside of his pockets and stormed off somewhere, pushing others as he did.

Faye looked at Narks. "Is this really necessary?" she said to him, clutching a cup of juice. "We're just going to be expected to keep an eye on everyone all the time. I'm afraid to fall asleep!"

This was fun! Aquila was so happy to be given a chance to hang with her bestie @Gabriella Riddle all night and take all sorts of photos to look back at years from now.

Holding up her camera, she smiled. "Who wants their photo taken?"

Atticus wasn't too happy about having his wand taken from him. He just needed to find Alayna as quickly as possible. She was probably freaking out about this.

"I don't understand what Voclain's thinking half of the time," he replied taking a sip of some green tea. "At least Discordia can't poke your eye out." Narkissos had heard of too many close-calls.

Of bloody course he's forced to spend all night in the gym knowing the Notts and Ratmy were around. James wasn't in the greatest of moods as they took away his smokes, his map, his yo-yo, condoms, etc. He was fortunate that they let him keep the one withdrawal potion he had on hand, but that was probably because they realized it'd be worse if he didn't have access to it. Then it hit him that this was one free chance to spend as much time with Lien as possible. Whistling, he glanced around and grabbed some crisps from the table.

"I'm here, Lazar." She touched his arm. "I dunnae know what they're thunkin'. How about we use this opportunity to gather all the cheerleaders and do our routine? We can scare all the other squads, aye?" Turning, she saw Marilyn alone on the bleachers. What was she doing all alone like that? "Marilyn! Want to get kicked out the water?" she called over to her.

Two months since she started school at Hogwarts, and she hardly knew anybody. Eloisa found herself overwhelmed at the amount of people in one space; she skipped the dance for a reason, and now she had nowhere to go.

He lit up when he was reassured by his cousin's presence. "Thuh-that's what I was thinking!" Too bad he couldn't look at pictures of Samantha Fox, but he had his imagination...

She turned her head when she heard Thalia yell in her direction?

"Kicked out of what?!"

Jerome almost bumped into @Hyacinth Macmillan as he looked around at all the students in the gymnasium. It was nothing like Voclain had pictured. The students either looked confused, shy or annoyed to be there. There was a lot of folded arms and hushed talking.

"It's going to be a case of being trapped in with a lot of farts..." he said to him dully.

Cherry wasn't fond of losing a night of TLC time to herself; how was she supposed to de-stress after a long day of classes and fights now? Taking a deep breath, she smiled when she saw Louis. At least he was nearby if she wanted to talk to someone.

Gawain looked around for friends, acquaintances, cool people, anyone! At this point he didn't care who they were, as long as they could hold a conversation.

Seeing Jerome, Macmillan nodded in agreement. "If Fred's a chaperone, everyone will die of suffocation..."

Discordia stared aimlessly having zero way to fix someone despite being surrounded by the entire school. What was she to do now?

Alayna thought this whole thing was a waste of time. She sighed as she leaned against the all watching everyone mill about and complain. She saw her brother and quickly made her way over to him, "I can't even explain all the things I'd rather be doing right now."

Cernunnos ended up being one of the few students currently excited about this situation. Jumping around, he swayed to the music he blasted through his phone.

Siobhan stood beside Wade at the stupid kindness thing. What was even the point of it? Nothing was gonna change around here. It was the circle of Hogwarts. You were either in the circle or not. She rolled her eyes and looked over at Wade, "What are the chances we can escape this?"

Andy was pissed that she was stuck here and unable to do much to cause trouble. Nobody had the capability of spiking the punch either! Everything would be more fun with alcohol involved.
