The Kindness Assembly ((Hogwarts))

After an exponential increase in fights since the start of term, Camille had been working hard to come up with a solution while Lochlan handled the disciplinary side of things. It coincidentally lined up with some recent incidents, so there was no better time to debut what she had been working on. She had the professors corral students to the Great Hall to help ensure that none of them miss the announcement that she was about to make. Camille stepped up to the podium and smiled with a few tears down her cheek. Her precious students all divided. It was so heartbreaking!

'Hello, students! As you're all aware, I sent everyone a crystal message regarding this special assembly to address one topic near and dear to my heart: kindness. There's been a disturbing amount of violence within the past few weeks that it's been difficult for Professor Riddle and I to adequately deal with them in a timely matter. In order to help curb it and create a healthier, friendlier environment at Hogwarts, we'll be establishing an anti-bullying program featuring a crystal hotline that you can send any instances of bulling to. We hope to have it be completely rolled-out by the winter holiday so that next term can proceed on a much better slate! To promote a kinder environment, we'll be playing cheerful music throughout the corridors in-between classes and setting up various trust-building activities outside of class hours! Does anyone have questions for me or another one of our faculty members to answer?"

Macmillan yawned during the announcement. He doubted any of those things would make a difference.

Not a single word of the speech went through his ears as he sat at the table nearly falling asleep. He needed a stimulant.
