Melody (Open)

Mariel had found her way to Black Lake and was leaning against the tree there. She had her guitar in her hands and was just playing some random melody she had created the other day. There was no lyrics set. Just melody. She was still thinking what to do with it. She felt she still needed to prefect this. Even yeah she wasn't sure how yet. She just felt it was missing something.

Cat was taking her job investigating people for this Glee club very intently, if that meant pulling a Marilyn Grayson, and watching people to get gossip, so be it. Today she was by the Black Lake trying to see if any kids were trying to sing their hearts out and she spotted someone, and she listened closely.

A smirk came across her face, "Hey you. What's your name?"

Mariel was so into her Melody but suddenly she heard someone to speak to her. This is when she looked up to the girl and smiled. "My name is Mariel, why?" she asked with a smile and kept playing her melody.

The melody was beautiful in Catalina’s mind and she needed people. “I think you’ll be perfect for the Glee club.” she said giving the girl a simple smile.

“My name is Cat.”

Mariel looked up from her guitar towards the girl. She wasn't exactly sure what the Glee Club was even. "What is that club about? Maybe I'll join," she said with a shrug.

"I"m Mariel, nice to meet you Cat."

Cat had let out a smile at this girl wanting to know about the club. “We sing and might do competitions.” she said giving her a smile because it was her plan. “We are all about music and getting to love it.”

"Oh I see, well I might join," she said with a small smile. "I do know how to sing too, and I love to play guitar when ever I can. Oh and I love to write my own songs," she said with a bright smile. Music really was her passion for sure. "I could even share my songs to the club if needed," she added.

Cat liked this girl a lot and already was enjoying her company. "I like it and you'll be perfect. We want people who bring things to the table, and I like that about you." she commented.

"Who is your favorite singer?"

She smiled. "That's good to hear," she said with a bright smile. She could help them with melodies for sure. "Also I could help out with harmony in the group if needed, make sure things work out between us," she added.

"At the moment Taylor Swift," she said with a small smile. "But it can changes very easily," she added.

Cat had to admit she wasn't shocked to hear Mariel liked Taylor Swift. She was the biggest artist of their generation, and people loved her a lot. "You will do what you want. We put you where we see fit, and you also get to choose." she said giving Mariel a smile.

"I love Taylor, but I am a major Athena Cartwright fan."
