Although he could feel a rift beginning between him and some of his relatives over drugs, James hadn't felt this good in a while; the main thing to have him feel 100% would be to see Lien at the very least. He was still too much of a coward to seek him out, so he ended up in the gym at one of its more desolate hours. James hadn't shown up to practices like he initially planned, but there was no way he was going to manage some alternative prior to the match. He'd just bullshit and play by ear once on the pitch as he did with most things.

He couldn't be bothered to deal with his gym uniform and modify it, so he was only in his pants. He liked going the simplest route whenever possible, and this was better than feeling like an oven in his clothes. James walked through the gymnasium trying to figure out which exercise to start with; he wasn't particularly in an aerobics mood with how he rushed through the castle under his invisibility cloak for the past however many days. Time for strength exercises. James found a horizontal bar hanging from the ceiling and jumped up to it. Chin-ups it was.

His legs dangled as he pulled himself up and down. Unghhhhh. Why did his relatives think he was extremely in shape again? Grunts escaped from his mouth as he could feel the palms of his hands turn red.

He turned the shower off, licked the water from underneath his lip and nodded.

"Yeah. I know."

Grabbing a towel that was hanging on the door, he dried himself very briefly before slipping into his clothes again. He crossed his arms over his chest, and gave him a sympathetic smile.

"Just find him. Talk to him. I can tell he's not right. He moans a lot in his sleep at the moment."

That was his cue to get off of the floor. James brushed off his legs as he grabbed a towel. It was a good thing he made sure Lily grabbed all of his changes of clothes following the dance or he'd be screwed. He just needed to make sure nobody got his stuff. Then again, the invisibility cloak helped there.

"I-I've thought 'bout it ev'ry day. Just don't wanna give 'im more trouble. Already had to bitch at Al for confrontin' him for no reason..."

"I don't think you'll give him more trouble."

Feeling nice and satisfied now, Atticus stretched and smiled to himself. James may have been still troubled, but Atticus felt great. His sister would probably have something to say about this situation if she found out, but he wasn't planning on telling her. It would only set her off into a rage of accusations.

"Catch him after the match. I'll make sure he comes to that. All the dorm will drag him there."

He winked at James.

"You have the best arse, by the way. Something there to grab."

"Yeah, I'll catch 'im then..."

That was likely the best time for such a meeting anyway; he still had a few more assignments to catch up on before doing the pre-reading Professor Riddle asked of him. James began patting himself down with the towel before wrapping it around his waist. Why the hell did a towel cover more than a gym uniform?

James gave Atticus a sheepish smile. "Aye, I'm endowed on both sides." Not bad. Looking around, James was ready to change into some actual clothing.

"See ye 'round? Got work t' do...."

A sentence James Sirius Potter wasn't the type to mutter.

Atticus smiled back at him, and gave a nod.

"Yeah... and I meant what I said about finding me when you've got the munchies."

His eyes gleamed as he glanced over the other boy. It was good to know that he'd had that, so to speak. Both of them benefitted from it, and both of them were sensible enough to leave it as it was: good sex.

"You were great," he said, leaning forward and giving him a kiss goodbye. He was allowed to do that, wasn't he? Giving him a quick grin, he left James with that so he didn't have room to comment on it.

Yeah. He was going to become a frequent visitor of the kitchens it felt like. This had too little of that. Guess Fred was right; he was that impulsive.

"I will," James responded feeling hot amd bothered at the mere thought of it. He might spend a bit longer before getting drrssed. The kiss threw him off guard, but not to the point of being distracting.

Once he knew Atticus had left, he hung the towel back up and switched the shower on.
