sibling bonding [Sibby]

Faolan had gotten to spend a little bit of time with Emery on the trip so far but they had gone their separate ways, her to go find someone and him to figure out some other sort of chaos to cause before they made it to the school. He was walking out of the compartment he had been in when he ran into someone. Immediately, he recognized his little sister. A smirk came to his lips. "Whoa, where's the fire?" He teased.

Siobhan had slipped out of the compartment with Cassie in search of sweets when she quite literally ran into her brother. She smiled up at him with her best 'innocent little sister' face and giggled, "Well I believe it is where ever I wish it to be, is it not?" She loved her powers. They made her feel so unique. And fire was one of her favorite elements. It was wild and uncontrollable, much like herself

Faolan rolled his eyes and reached out to ruffle Sibby’s hair as he tried to give him the innocent look. He knew that his little sister could be just as chaotic as he was so he wasn’t buying into her acting all innocent. “Yeah, yeah… rub it in.” while Faolan had a bit of a penchant for blowing things up (whether on purpose or on accident), Sibby was the lucky one with her elemental abilities. Part of him always envied her for it but it wasn’t like he couldn’t create fire with his wand if needed… “where you running off to?” maybe that was a better question.

Siobhan wrinkled her nose and quickly fixed her hair after Faolans teasing antics, "Watch it. I got it perfect this morning. Don't ruin it." Siobhan wasn't one to normally care about her hair being perfect, but it was the first day back and she wanted to make an impression. "Been hanging out with Malfoys little sister, she's not that bad. Looking for the trolley. I got a craving only sugar quills and cauldron cakes can fix." She giggled as she felt Dahlia climb up her arm and nestle into her hair a bit.

“Trying to impress someone, Sibby? Is there some boy who has caught your eye or something?” he teased with a raised brow. She was his baby sister, he had to give her a hard time. It was like an unspoken rule or something, he was sure of it. The Malfoys sounded like odd company for her to be keeping but he just shrugged it off. “Pretty sure I saw it head that way a few minutes ago.” he said as he pointed in the direction he had seen the trolly go when it had passed the compartment he had been in.

Siobhan glared at her brother and her eyes practically danced with the flames inside her, "As if. All of the guys in this school are moronic prats that only want to get laid." It wasn't an untrue statement. Siobhan was considered one of the cute ones at Hogwarts and constantly had guys hitting on her, she usually sent them away with less eyebrows or hair than they began the conversation with. When he pointed towards the trolley, she grabbed his hand and started pulling him along with her towards it, "You can buy my snacks then big brother. Thank you so much." She said, all overly sweet and teasing.

Faolan was actually rather happy to hear that his little sister saw right through the guys who tried to hit on her. He didn't want to have to have a conversation with any of them but he definitely would. Even if he knew that Sibby could definitely handle herself. He didn't want to fall prey to some guy who only wanted her for such things. "I don't know whether to be offended that you think all guys here are like that or glad that you do." He said with a laugh. Then she was grabbing his hand and he allowed her to drag him down the length of the train chasing after the snack trolly. "And why would I buy your snacks?" he teased her right back, knowing that he would but still giving her a rough time about it anyway.

Sibby laughed and reached up to ruffle his hair as he had done hers earlier, "It can be both, really." When they reached the cart she looked over at him, "Because I'm your baby sister and you love me, that's why." She knew he was gonna pay, he just liked to mess with her. She loved her brother, he was quite literally her other half. The yin to her yang. He was her best friend. She smiled at him before ordering her snacks and practically drooling as she was handed the baggy of sweets

“Hey, watch it!” he complained good naturedly as she reached up and messed up his hair just as he had done to hers, not that his didn’t look purposefully messy already.He playfully rolled his eyes at her statement. He guessed it could be a little bit of both. Faolan couldn’t say no when it came to his baby sister. They had always been close and he would do anything for her. Even if he liked giving her a hard time as well. He grabbed a few things from the trolly himself and then handed over the money when they both got their things. “Didn’t think you were about to spend every cent I had though.”he told her with a laugh, he was definitely exaggerating. He had worked for their dad at his fireworks shop over the summer so he had some money.

Siobhan rolled her eyes and groaned, "You're such a girl sometimes" she said, teasing him of course. But in all honesty, it did sometimes take Faolan longer than her to get ready. She laughed as she sucked on a sugar quill and gave him a big smile, "Thank you, Faolan." She shook her head at his statement about his lack of funds, "Oh please. First of all, I barely made a dent in your pocket having worked for dad all summer. Second, you act is though you could not write mother and have her send more funds you." She stuck her tongue out at him and shoved him playfully, "You seen your little girl friend thingy yet?" She asked, referring to Emery of course. She didn't really like her brother's friend, and she didn't bother hiding that fact when she was around.

Faolan reached out and shoved her shoulder playfully when she called him a girl. He didn't shove her hard or for anything other than a little roughhousing with his sister. There was a smile on his lips that showed well enough that even though they teased each other, he enjoyed spending time with his little sister. "I should make you pay for your own sweets after that comment." He grumbled but he was only continuing to tease her. "I guess you're right. I always have been mom's favorite." He joked. He didn't actually think that was true but it didn't stop him from saying it anyway. "You mean Emery?" They weren't actually a thing. He and Em were really just good friends but he knew that Sibby thought there was more there. "We hung out for a few minutes." He said, just assuming that was who she meant.

Vidar wasn't usually one for sweets or anything, but he could definitely use a drink as the train traveled closer to the school so he found himself tracking down the trolly. It wasn't hard to find because it always seemed there was a crowd around it and right now was no different. He was trying to get to the cart as the two siblings rough housed a bit in front of it. He rolled his eyes before getting either of their attention. "Excuse me." He said as he tried to get around them so that he could get to the cart and purchase his own drink.

Siobhan laughed at his statement about making her pay for her own sweets, "Perhaps you should. However, I know you will not." She gasped when he said that he was their mums favorite, "That may be. But I will always be dads little flame." She said, dawning the childhood nickname Seamus had given her up on discovery of her elemental powers. She rolled her eyes at the mention of the other girls name, "Ugh yes. God, what do you see in her, Faolan. I mean honestly, she's so annoying. Do you not see that?" She had more to say but her mind when blank as a voice interrupted her and she saw who the voice belonged to. Vidar Eriksson. He was a new transfer student and he was totally gorgeous. It was almost as if she had forgotten how to speak or even move.

”unfortunately for me, you know me way too well.” he said when she called him out on his crap. Of course he wouldn’t make her pay for her own snacks. What kind of big brother would that make him if he did? He rolled his eyes. “Yeah, yeah. Rub it in.”he said, knowing that she was probably right about their father and her being his favorite. Oh well, it happened. A sigh left his lips as Sibby went over her normal argument. “She’s my friend, Sibby.”he had been friends with Em for years and he didn’t see that changing anytime soon. Then some fancy posh guy spoke to them and Sibby seemed to freeze. He looked between the two and raised a brow before shoving Sibby’s shoulder to bring her back to earth. “not interested in any boys, my arse.” he mumbled to himself as he noted the heart eyes she seemed to be sporting.

Vidar waited for people to move out of his way so that he could make it to the trolley but it seemed that no one in this place had any manners to speak of because no one moved. With a sigh he decided he would just have to squeeze his way through. He saw a gap between the girl who seemed to just be staring at him and someone else and went to squeeze himself through it, inadvertently bumping into Siobhan as the other person jostled him. He mentally cursed but aloud he remained polite. “Excuse me, sorry about that.” he told Siobhan.

Siobhan rolled her eyes at the comment about Emery just being a friend as he mond was now elsewhere. That elsewhere was the tall blonde Adonis like guy squeezing through the crowd. She tried to step out of his way but was unsuccessful as she felt him bump into her. Merlin, he was toned. She could tell that much from the brief contact between them. She heard her brother's comment and gave him a look that said 'Shut up or die'. When Vidar apologized she blushed a bit, "No worries. I'm fine."

Faolan just rolled his eyes when his sister’s attention was obviously diverted elsewhere. He threw his hands up in mock surrender when she gave him the look. He liked teasing her but wasn’t looking to all out embarrass her. ”oh look, I better be going…” while he wouldn’t embarrass her, he also didn’t want to watch his sister drooling over some guy.

Vidar apologized to the girl and watched as some other guy spoke to her and excused himself. His new classmates were definitely odd… but then he looked back to the girl and nodded as she said she was alright. ”Good, I would not have been pleased to have caused you harm.” he didn’t go around harming attractive girls in general. His tone was proper even if his accent was strong, English was not his first language even if he thought he spoke it well. He had just learned a more formal version.

Siobhan's eyes widened as Faolan disappeared and she was left with Vidar. She looked up at him as he was much much taller than her and smiled, "It would prove quite difficult to harm me, I assure you." It was true. Siobhan was usually the one causing others harm. She almost became hypnotized at his accent and felt herself blushing a bit, though she had no clue as to why, "You're still a bit new here, aren't you? Vidar, right? Did I say that right?" She was babbling now, a tell tale sign she was nervous.

Vidar just shrugged when she seemed to dismiss his apology so quickly. At least she wasn't making a big deal about it or something. It was an honest mistake. He was a little surprised that the girl he had never actually met knew his name but when she said it, he nodded. "Yes, my sister and I just started at the very end of last year. And yes, Vidar." He said in his accented voice, not meaning to correct her but to just confirm that she had said it correctly. "I do seem to be at a disadvantage since I do not know your name?" He had seen her around school, of course, but not enough to actually know who she was.

Siobhan smiled once more at his accent, it was so sexy, "Siobhan Finnegan, the oaf that I was with earlier was my brother Faolan." She looked over at him, "are you enjoying Hogwarts so far?" She didn't really know much about making small talk, she normally was yelling at someone or setting fire to their stuff for pissing her off; not actually talking.

"It is a pleasure to properly meet you, Siobhan." Vidar said, letting his perfect manners shine through just as he had been raised to do. Then he smirked a bit at the mention of the oaf being her brother but said nothing about it except for to chuckle a bit. "I find it rather agreeable so far. It is much different than Durmstrang, much more laid back." Because Durmstrang was very strict. He strived in the strict environment but it was nice to be able to relax a bit like he had been able to at the end of the year last year when he had transferred to Hogwarts. "My sister seems to find it a better fit for her than Durmstrang was as well." Because Astrid liked the freedom offered here. She had also made friends who she didn't think would stab her in the back at the first opportunity, or so she had told him.

Siobhan smiled when he laughed at her joke, he looked really good with a smile. "What was Durmstrang like? I heard they're very strict and borderline like the military." She doubted that part to be true, but who knew. "Oh Astrid. Right. She seems to be fitting in very well here. Friends with the Princesses of Slytherin is t a bad role here, either."

Vidar wasn't one to smile often but he found the girl to be amusing at least. Then she went on to ask about Durmstrang and he nodded. "You have heard correctly. It is far more strict than here. And far more competitive." Sure, he had noticed that some could be competitive here, mainly in his own house, but he didn't feel like he constantly had to watch his back here. The laid back nature of the school was also something he wasn't accustomed to. "Yes, she has seemed to fall into an agreeable group, thankfully." He didn't want anyone poisoning his sister's mind but Alayna and Carina seemed alright from what he had gotten to know of them thus far.

"Thankfully my father was bluffing when he threatened to send me there last year for accidentally setting the curtains on fire. I mean, I'm sure I'd do alright there but I'd miss my friends." She then realized he had no idea of her powers, "I'm an elemental. I can control fire." She held out her palm to let a tiny ball of fire dance across her skin before sniffing it out by closing her fist.
