• Is the twin of Alayna Nott, and the son of Theodore and Daphne (Greengrass) Nott. His Father lives by traditional rules and takes an authoritarian approach to parenting. He is often cruel, dominating and uses physical forms of punishment. Atticus has succumbed to his Father's wrath a fair few times over the years. Often times he stepped in and took the blame, so that Alayna was spared.
  
• Atticus could no longer take his Father's cruelty and the way their lives were ruled by strong views of pureblood supremacy. In the middle of one of his Father's fundraisers, he announced that he was homosexual to the entire party. As a result, Theodore took him out of Hogwarts in his fourth year and sent him abroad to a stricter, more military-like wizarding school in Europe. As the school only taught boys between the ages of 11-16, Atticus came back to England at the end of the summer.
  
• Atticus is back to Hogwarts for his seventh year, but he has changed somewhat from his time overseas. Of course, Theodore could never get his own way and squash the gay out of his son though. He's just under the impression that it has. Atty will let him believe that for just a while longer...
