Peace (open)

Carina sat in the carriage she had managed to procure and had her song book open on her lap and her quill in her hand. The words were flowing out of her like water as line after line of lyrics were put on the page. She looked over the last line and sung the melody softly to herself "Give you the silence that only comes when to people understand each other. Family that I've chose now that I see your brother as my brother..." She wrinkled her nose and stared at the parchment until the words started to blur. She didn't even hear the door open as someone entered

Atticus was back. Back to platform nine and three-quarters, back at Hogwarts, back in the country...

Three years had elapsed since he had been there. Three years, and he felt as sick and nervous as a first year again. Except for Alayna and his parents, no one had seen him for that time: since then he had grown over six foot, got stubble and started changing into a man. That's what happens when you're sent away by your cruel and unfeeling Father.

He'd already lost Alayna, and now the crowds were getting to him. He kept his head down and managed to navigate through the mass of unruly students, feeling his heart pounding inside his chest. Just as he thought he was going to have a panic attack, he quickly whipped into the nearest compartment and clutched his chest, trying to calm himself down. He didn't notice anyone else in there.

Carina looked up when she heard the door quickly shut and stared at the man in her compartment. She was about to say something when she saw a familiar set of curls on his head, "Atticus?!" No way. Atti, is that you?" She jumped out of her seat and ran to her cousin throwing her arms around him, "When did you get back? How could alayna not tell me you were back!"
