Having been startled by some sort of creature, Talia immediately fell into fight-or-flight mode and began trying to find any and all exits out of the maze; why did she do this again? Of course, with her luck, it wasn't a success as she bumped into someone almost head-on and fell straight onto the ground.

Rafe loved this time of year as it fit so well with his personality. Was it really his fault that he enjoyed helping people fulfill their wish for the thrill factor? People loved to be scared, and well, he was just giving people what they wanted. When he'd heard there would be a corn maze he'd not stopped grinning as his eyes lit up with all the enjoyment he would soon be having. With that in mind when it was time, the teenager slipped into the maze wandering with no real destination to see whom he would bump into. He had successfully scared a few second years and caused a first year to pee their trousers. That had been hilarious and satisfying. He hadn't even really had to use magic either.

He might have been standing too long in one spot gloating as the next thing he knew he was thrown to the ground as someone tackled him from behind. Rafe let out a startled sound as he went down and groaned. Eyes glittering dangerously, he turned and stated, "Generally I don't mind being groped or a bit of rough play, but I prefer to be the one on top. So if you could?"

"Last thing I'd want is you on top!" Talia yelled as she got up from the ground rubbing her head. Ouch, that hurt.

Where in the corn maze were they..?

"How long have you been walking through here?"

Rafe couldn't help the smirk that appeared at the other's retort but didn't allow it to linger. Once she had stood, he did the same brushing off the grass and such from the front of his shirt. "How do you know? Or is it... Do you have control issues?" he asked peering at her.

At her question of how long he'd been in the maze he replied rather unhelpfully, "Awhile." Putting his hands in the pockets of his denims, he asked as if he was concerned, "You don't have a phobia about enclosed spaces do you?"

Blunt and straight to the point. Hopefully that wouldn't earn her a sucker punch.

Talia shook her head no. "I just want to pee!"
