Valentine's Weekend ((RF))

On the weekend of Valentine's Day (the 13th and 14th), Hogsmeade was hosting a Valentine's festival. Today (Saturday 13th) was the day of the parade: cupids swarmed the streets spreading cheer and spirit, and decorative floats were led by the local businesses. The streets were full of life and rammed full of witches and wizards from across the country, as well as the students of Hogwarts as this was their designated weekend visit. There were various stalls selling Valentines and Springtime merchandise: Honeydukes had a large one selling their chocolates, and The Three Broomsticks were ladelling out their special love-filled brews.

There were carnival rides, games and prizes to be won for 'you and your sweetheart'. As the crowds are thick and the demand is high, there's a lot that could go unnoticed. Still, you're just here to enjoy yourself - right?

Backing away, James wanted to just get away from Lukas. It should be simple with just how many people there were, but it was also very easy to draw attention to what was going on between the two of them. He threw the near-empty box of bon-bons at Lukas thinking it'd be preferable to getting physical or pulling out his wand.

"And for the bloody record, my bloke and I got together before I dropped out!"

Then again, maybe it wouldn't hurt to see how much Lukas would risk getting expelled...
