To welcome back the students of Ilvermorny to the new term, as well as welcoming the exchange students crossing the pond, the Principal has organised a feast of classic British delicacies for the students to enjoy. The tables are stacked with buffet-style Afternoon Tea snacks: finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, a wide cake selection, macaroons, quiches, custard tarts, strawberries and cream and trifles (to name a few).

The exchange students from Hogwarts have been sorted into their houses for their stay and given their dormitories. The returning Ilvermorny students have listened to a speech from the Principal, naming each one individually and welcoming them to the school.

Students are free to sit or stand anywhere they like, and are encouraged to mingle.

Eustace didn't know who dug up the potential connection, but she didn't understand the whole hoopla over being likely related to Harry Potter. Who cared? Not like they ever communicated or anything in the past.

She raised an eyebrow seeing milk being added to her tea. "Why did you put that in?"

Ryker entered the room and looked around a bit. There were quite a few fine new women from Hogwarts joining them this year. He smirked and made his way over to where he saw Potter and plopped down beside her, "I think that's how they do it over there with their queen and prime minister. All fancy with their little tea cups." He eyes the blonde girl and smirked, earning a glare from her, "Feisty. I like that." He picked a scone up off the girls plate and bit into it, "Why do you guys eat stale cookies?"

Emery walked into the Tea Party with a smile on her face. She spotted Ryker and let out a little smirk, “How are you Ryker?” she said giving him a hug, and kissing his cheek, before spotting Louis.

“Did my sister have you come and spy on me?” said Emery in a dark tone. Even if she was glad to see Louis, but right now Emery was trying to live her life.

Looking over at Ryker, “This is my sister’s boyfriend, Louis.” she said giving Louis a smile and completing ignoring the Potter in the room since she really could care less right now.

Jace was already fighting the urge to the throw up seeing that Ryker already managed to fuck Emery while being at Ilvermorny, it was disgusting. He also knew he was a target now for Tiffany gang since he yelled at Tovron.

He entered after spending the morning practicing Quidditch, with hopes of impressing Zachary enough. They were close to say the least, but Zachary was a pompous asshole. He spotted Ryker and Emery, and threw up in his mouth.

He walked over. “Hey Eustance! I’m sorry for the whole mall thing.” he said feeling like a bit of a dick. Looking at Ryker, “How many times have you guys fucked since Emery has been back on American soil?” he said with a bit of distaste in his voice.

Al was spending a lot of time exploring Ilvermorny and all that the school had to offer for him. He liked the school a lot and heard about Afternoon Tea. This had him very excited, but he also felt like it was a stupid stereotype.

He entered the room where it was being held and saw Mackenzie, and tried to avoid her. He had a book in his hand that he intended to read right away, and went to get some cookies, and started reading.

Hoping Mackenzie could give him some space.

Ryker smirked when he felt emery's arms wrap around him and pulled her lips to his in a heated kiss, "Hey gorgeous." He then looked at the guy Emery called Louis and simply nodded in acknowledgement. Then she said the poor guy was dating Haz and it made him laugh, "You got a death wish or a self hate problem, man? I could never. Not with a 100 foot pole." He briefly acknowledged his brother and smirked, "More times than you'd like to know." He gave Ems ass a little squeeze and winked at her.

Marianna was not excited for the tea and didn’t want to see Zuriel and her ex boyfriend. She strolled into the building and went to get some food. She spotted Rudi, and let out a smile. “Hey, you mind if I join you? I can’t bear being around Zuriel and Eliana’s father right now.” said Marianna with a bit of a sigh.

“Don’t you think this stuff is all pretty stereotypical? It’s like not all British people like posh things.” she said giving them all a bit of a sigh right now. She spotted everyone and just rolled her eyes. “I can’t stand these people you know?” she said with a loud groan. She supposed it involved being involved and everything.

Mackenzie was about to say something to the obnoxious guy when suddenly he was making out with Cartwright. "Gross. Why don't you two get a room or something?" She saw movement behind them and realized Albus was there. She looked at him and frowned a bit when he didn't even come over. Fine, two could play at that game. She turned her attention back to Louis but wasn't in the mood to play. She frowned a bit, "Louis, has Albus said anything about me. He hasn't spoken to me since we left England."

Emery laughed at Ryker’s heavy kiss, since she was all for it. She had kissed his lips back, and let out a smile. “Hey handsome, I think we could make this more a thing, if you didn’t fuck everyone.” she said with a little bit of a sigh right now. She didn’t mind it since she had a lot of people she talked too and one back home.

A chuckle came with Ryker, “More like the ability to fuck Hazel, he literally worships her, and gets so sad when she goes on one of her fits.” she said kissing his lips. “I say we ditch this place in a bit, and go have an afternoon fuck.” she teased Ryker before spotting Jace who didn’t look impressed, and she smiled. “Hey Jace, it’s nice to see you again.” she said with a smile right now, as she walked over and hugged him.

“Do you got a boyfriend yet?” she asked since she knew Jace had been gay, and definitely wasn’t your stereotypical gay.

Eustace was annoyed and also slightly relieved at all of the students that begun to crowd around that weird Louis boy. Now how could she remove milk from the tea he poured for her? Milk tea was a thing, but it was different than whatever he was doing. She already came to one conclusion: the British are a strange breed.

Jace just rolled his eyes. “Is she carrying your baby?” he asked with a bit of a groan right now. He wouldn’t be shocked since they fucked over the summer. “Since you two have been awfully close.” he said with a bit of a sigh. He spotted one of the new girls and let out a sigh. “I’m sorry, my brother and Emery go way back.” he said with a bit of a sigh right now.

He knew the entire situation, and it was something that killed him every second to know that they had a pass. “I’m Jace, by the way, and if you want to hang out I’d love too, I love to meet people.” he said with a huge smile, he was a misfit just like Ryker, but at least Jace had some class.

Tiff was quite content with the Tea Party, and hoped Emery would join them since she part of their group now. She walked over too Addison, “Hey beautiful. Is the gang here, and can you believe Ryker has already sunk his claws into Emery.” she said with a dark glare on her face. She hated both Melkor boys and she looked at Addison. “We should go save Emery.” she said giving her best friend a smirk right now.

Jared was sitting a few seats away from Addison watching all the British kids with distaste and how they were taking over this school like it was there school. It was absolutely disgusting right now, and he let out a sigh. Then he spotted Addison and Tiffany, and walked over. “Why are the British here? Weren’t we supposed to plan their event, not the wussies who think they actually own this school.” he said giving a look right now. He wasn’t pleased, and spotted Emery and Ryker. “That is fucking disgusting right now.” he said in complete utter disgust.

Louis was smiling around at everyone, but they seemed to be more absorbed in their own affairs. That was perfectly find with him, as he used this opportunity to get some of the food they had on offer. It all looked very nice, and fancy.

When Mackenzie's voice sounded next to him, however, he smiled at her.

"Albus? Yes, I'm quite sure he has mentioned you," he said, beaming.

"They look pretty good," he said, smiling at her, "So I just cut it to half and spread the jelly?"

Looking carefully at what she had done on her plate, Zuriel smiled while he tried to imitate what she had done. Perhaps he had used far too much of the jam, because it was oozing off the side.

"Er - you have uh..." He motioned below his lower lip corner, "Right here. A little bit on your lip there." He chuckled a little bit. It was very endearing.

"Yeah, I mean I don't know if I actually like Beyonce or Gaga the best, but Kylie has got to be a diva high up on my list."

Tovren was grinning. Finally he had someone to fangirl with!

"So, there's a few things you have to know - the tee here - yadda yadda. So my group of friends are the best. There's Tiffany over there, Addy's the one with the big eyes and the hunk is Jared..." he pointed them out, "Oh fuck," he said, stepping back as he eyed up Emerald. "Is that Emerald? Whoa girl, she's not wasting any time getting around..."

Marilyn nodded, replying, "That's what I tend to do! I stick to strawberry and grape jams. I don't like figs..." She doubted the Americans would too considering just how sweet some of the treats at the galleria were. How could they handle having so much sugar?!

She got some on her?! A bit embarrassed, she grabbed a nearby napkin and patted off the gunk of jam on her lip. "Did I get it all?!"

Thank Merlin that hunk noticed it before somebody else did!

"I love Beyonce's Sasha Fierce era the best~! Self-titled and Lemonade are still iconic!" He probably annoyed his dormmates at Hogwarts a few times during their second year with how much he listened to Lemonade...

Tea? Tea! Cernunnos leaned forward to hear as much of it as possible while one hand grabbed one of the empty teacups; this was his chance to feel like Madonna in that one interview some years back! "Oooh, yeah, that's Emery~! She got around at Hogwarts too~!" Cernunnos confirmed giggling as he said it. "The Gryffindor team's wild! The seeker got a girl pregnant and quit. Did I mention that seeker is James Potter~? He's also gay! Emery was captain and I heard she's pregnant! Ooooh~!"

He nodded, smiling.

"Yeah, you got it."

He chuckled.

"Urgh no, figs are bland. And why do people have them on salads? I like peach and pineapple ones too," He felt like he was doing well in making her feel welcome. "Oh yeah, before I forget. The crystal contact, if you hold it up to mine it should sync the contact." His crystal was a bracelet he had around his wrist, and he placed it on the table, ensuring the contact was showing.

"The Student Council are doing a tour this weekend of the grounds and castle. From what I hear, it's a lot bigger than Hogwarts. Maybe you'll tag along?"

"Oh James! That's Harry's kid, right? We're related or something. But I haven't met them. Maybe we'd get along."

At least they had two things in common: same ancestors, same orientation.

"Yeah, she's pregnant. But who's the baby Daddy again?"

Emery pulled away from Ryker and gave him a quick kiss. “I’ll see you later.” she said as she walked over to someone who looked familiar and smiled. “Hey handsome, you know I had a lot fun during the movie, and I’ll definitely go on an date again.” she said giving him a smile.

Rudi was definitely different, “That is if you are okay, but I’m not the relationship type of person just yet.” she said giving him a hug, before spotting a girl. “Hey I’m Emery, by the way.” she said giving the girl a smile, and she laughed. “You seem to be quite the ladies man.” she said smiling.

Merlin, he was so dreamy... He didn't match up to Wade, but he was within that same league. Squee! She needed to keep herself together! The guys at Hogwarts could learn a thing or two from Zuriel!

Marilyn pulled out her crystal and held it near the bracelet amazed a it syncing. "I didn't know they could do that!" Was that how Professor Voclain got everyone's contact for those daily messages?

"That'd be great! I didn't know how big this place was!"

Ilvermorny was a bit overwhelming as there was so much more people than Hogwarts. It was nice although it would make it a bit more difficult to keep track of gossip.

Damn. Marianna was with Ruggiero! And who was that other girl? She contemplated not going over there, as she didn't feel entirely natural around guys like Ruggiero, but that would be kind of rude.

"Hi y'all..." she said quietly, not wanting to draw too much attention to herself. But then she caught what the girl was saying about him being a lady's man. "Is she serious? The only thing he's good for is pest control," she muttered, so only Marianna would hear.
