To welcome back the students of Ilvermorny to the new term, as well as welcoming the exchange students crossing the pond, the Principal has organised a feast of classic British delicacies for the students to enjoy. The tables are stacked with buffet-style Afternoon Tea snacks: finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, a wide cake selection, macaroons, quiches, custard tarts, strawberries and cream and trifles (to name a few).

The exchange students from Hogwarts have been sorted into their houses for their stay and given their dormitories. The returning Ilvermorny students have listened to a speech from the Principal, naming each one individually and welcoming them to the school.

Students are free to sit or stand anywhere they like, and are encouraged to mingle.

Marianna looked at Harriet in complete horror right now. “This was not how I wanted to start my year back.” she said giving a sigh, and prayed once Eliana was over she didn’t have this happen. “Although I have to say Emerald is super pretty.” she said giving Harriet a smile.

Addison continued to pout a bit even after Tiffany said Jared was hers. She didn't like the idea of any other girl even looking at him. Which was a bit odd. Normally she didn't care about stuff like that. She looked over at him and found herself staring for a moment before she was able to recollect herself and turned her attention back to Tiffany. Her performance with Ryker was quite the surprise. She raised an eyebrow in confusion and looked at the rest of the group, "Any idea what she's got planned?"

Jared loved what happened and couldn’t help but clap. He looked at Addison with a bit of a smile. “I think she’s going to embarrass Ryker, and show him where he stands. No one fucks with us, and I’ll say I’m Team Fedele since two jocks together are hot as hell.” he said giving everyone a smirk, and he whispered to Addison. “I’d like to take you out later.”

Addison didn't really have an opinion on Fedele despite being in the same house as him. He seemed like a typical meat head jock with an anger problem. Jared's theory made sense, tiff loved public humiliation of others, especially the Melkor twins. She looked at Jared and cocked her head to the side, "To do what?" She figured it would be planning ways to help Tiffany. That's what it usually consisted of when they hung out.

Mmmmmmhm. When she strutted off and started kissing Ryker, he chuckled, but was looking past them and at Jace, his twin. What did he think about all this?

"I need to eat this weird food before my stress levels go over the roof!" she agreed with Marianna, pulling one of the racks over and picking up something that looked like a chocolate chip cake or something. It wasn't that bad, but she really could go for some good home cooking right now.

"And why're you causing such a stir three minutes in?!" she demanded of Fedele, who merely shrugged.

He watched as Emerald fled, and hoped she was okay, but he doubted she wanted to be around him right now. Pregnant girls were like a ticking time bomb, he knew that from Marianna.

After Harriet snapped at him, he had to ask: "Ya both all good?"

"We all want you to shut up," Peach said, as she brushed past Tiffany Cartwright making another scene.

"Loud ass bitch..." she muttered acidly, now moving around them to see if there were any exchange students who looked like they were into sports. From the look of them all, and she could just be extremely judgemental, they didn't look like a crowd who enjoyed even Quidditch. That was disappointing. She liked to talk to exchanges, but if they weren't into sports she had a hard time finding common ground.

"Yeah, what she said!" Eustace yelled referring to what Peach said. Those damn Cartwrights always stinking up Ilvermorny. What have they done besides being rich and annoying?

"Excuse me!" Chris ran into the food hall hungry and absently apologizing to those he pumped into as he went up to one of the tables. Gazing going from one food item to the other he grinned. He was definitely going to have some of those cakes and that layered strawberry thing.

"Are those cucumber sandwiches?" Chris' eyes widened as he grinned. They were a great snack. "I don't usually get those unless gran comes over. Even then mom is a bit stingy on them. Gran's words, not mine. Mom doesn't like them but knows that gran does. Dad says mom does it because at least if she's going to be harangued, she might as well do something to deserve it. I think she does it just to get on her nerves, personally."

Grabbing a few he placed them into a napkin he was about to bite into one when his eyes alighted upon, "Quiche! That's good too!"

Addison turned on peach when she heard her comment towards Tiffany, "Wow. It's a good thing nobody asked nor cares about what you want." She rolled her eyes as she turned back to Jared and Tiffany, "So tired of these b list bitches being jealous."
