To welcome back the students of Ilvermorny to the new term, as well as welcoming the exchange students crossing the pond, the Principal has organised a feast of classic British delicacies for the students to enjoy. The tables are stacked with buffet-style Afternoon Tea snacks: finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, a wide cake selection, macaroons, quiches, custard tarts, strawberries and cream and trifles (to name a few).

The exchange students from Hogwarts have been sorted into their houses for their stay and given their dormitories. The returning Ilvermorny students have listened to a speech from the Principal, naming each one individually and welcoming them to the school.

Students are free to sit or stand anywhere they like, and are encouraged to mingle.

Addison smiled at her best friend and laughed, "If by save you mean go torment the Melkor twins and inspect the new people, then yes. We should." She straightened her posture when Jared walked over and smiled at him, "Maybe we should show them how gross they look, Jar." She said, pushing her hair back.

He smiled up at Emerald as she approached, doing a quick head-to-toe sweep as she drew closer.

"Yo, Emery," he greeted, then looked at Harriet. "I got a pair of ears, so I heard ya yap." He was grinning at her as she glanced away, turning red.

"Who's that fuckin' goon over there?" he asked Emerald, nodding his head over to Ryker.

While a few of her schoolmates were getting involved in something, Teruko picked up one of the cucumber sandwiches and grimaced looking at them. Who came up with that? She gave it a bite anyway as out of some of the other options on the table, it appeared to be one of the most likely treats that taste decently.

Emerald let out a smile when Rudi spoke to her with a grin. “I see you got all dressed up for me.” she said giving them a smile on her face as she chuckled. Emery had a lot of fun with Rudi that night. Looking at his friend with a smile. “He definitely knows how to make a good night.” she said giving him a bit of a chuckle.

She whispered. “Since we’re both in Wampus, we could sleep together tonight if you’d like.” she said giving him a smirk, down for some fun. She looked over at Ryker and let out a smile. “He’s a guy from my past, but we don’t do relationships.” she said with a shrug.

She didn’t want to anymore.

Tiff looked at Addison, “Remember, Emery is apart of this group now, you know how I feel about my family.” she said giving both Jared and Addison a glare. Emery was part of her gang, “I don’t like the Melkor twins, and I’ll be damned if Emery joins them. She should be with someone like Jared.” she whispered to the Addison and Tiff.

She let out a smirk when she saw Emery go to the big football guy. “Now he is a downgrade just as much, and we need to find a respectful guy.” she said giving them a bit of a smirk.

Addison felt herself bristle a bit when Tiffany said Emery should be with Jared, "Or fucking not." She said under her breath. "We can find someone respectful that maybe isn't Jared." She said, giving tiffany a look. She then looked over at Emery again, "Between Ryker and the football head, she's got great taste." She tried to say it with a straight face but failed.

Ryker was about to say something to Emery about being able to give up other girls for her. But before he could even speak she was ready over talking to some Wampus jock bag. He glared for a moment before getting up and walking over to her, "already over here trying to get another score?" He glared at the guy for a moment then back at Emery, "I suggest you walk away with me, Ems."

Mackenzie looked at the two guys and realized they were twins. Great, more look alikes. When he offered friendship towards her, she raised an eyebrow, "well aren't you just a ray of fucking sunshine?" He was very cheerful for some reason. It almost creeped her out. She still had an arm around Louis shoulder, but didn't show any interest in moving it, "I guess some friends around here wouldn't hurt." She then looked at Louis when he said Albus had mentioned her, "Is he angry at me or something?" It didn't make sense why he would be avoiding her. She came to America to be with him.

This girl had more libido than all of the football team put together. Not that he minded. He was about to tell her about the wampus cats guarding the dorms, when the guy appeared at their table.

"I suggest ya fuck off," he grumbled aggressively, curling his hand into a fist until his knuckles cracked. "Go play with ya dolls or somethin'."

Ryker chuckled darkly and looked at the guy, "The big bad wampus can crack his knuckles. Holy shit I'm so fucking terrified. Oh my god. I'm gonna fucking piss myself." He then laughed even harder, even wiped away a fake tear, "Why don't you go have a circle jerk with your jock head friends in the locker rooms."

While the start of the Afternoon Tea was ongoing, Geoff had been setting up his office and calling his wife in the auditorium bathrooms before finally making his way to the Food Hall to get something to eat. Naturally, he ended up walking in when the first fight of the semester was ongoing. Geoff immediately went to break it up as it was a bit of a risk to send one of the wampus guards in a room full of food. He walked towards the boys and immediately put himself between them after the first punch was made.

Spotting Mr. Hopkins, Mariposa quickly raised up her hands towards him. "Ello, professuh! Why don't we have a cuppa?!"

Harriet made a mental note of staying away from this girl - whoever she was. She seemed to attract drama, and stupid guys.

Ryker took a few steps back with the punch before wiping his nose of the blood. He let out another chuckle, "Oh fuck yeah." And right as he was about to deliver his own blow, professor Hopkins got in the way. He cared at Fedele from around the teacher, "consider yourself fucking lucky." He didn't feel like a detention today. Not when Fedele could be the only one to get it instead.

This guy was such a unrelenting douchebag that he could only think of lamping him whenever they cross paths. He just had one of those faces you wanted to punch, over and over.

When the teacher came, he lowered himself back to his seat and released a short, sudden puff of air from his nostrils, ignoring all the big talk coming from his mouth.

He glanced at the two students as they backed down. "Detention for both y'all." Geoff shook his head and went on to look at the buffet offerings as if he didn't just break up a fight.

He gasped when the punch happened, but was now stifling a big grin behind his hand. "This bitch's ability to ruffle feathers of all the cocks..."

Emerald was wild. He didn't like it. He preferred that all the attention was on Tiffany. Who was she to suddenly appear and cause a stir? He'd keep this thought to himself.

He dragged Cernu over to the table where Jared, Addison and Tiffany were sat. "This is Cernu everyone. Cernu - everyone..." He sat down and crossed his legs over, leaning in. "So are we team Fedele, or are we team Melkor?" he asked, wriggling his brows.

"I don't think it could be possible to be angry at you," he said cheerfully, sipping his tea. "Why don't you go and talk to him?" he suggested, smiling at her.

Yay! Friends to gossip with! Cernunnos was quickly loving Ilvermorny; it was such a nice change of pace from Hogwarts, and he'll be able to talk about some of the things that happened once he's back! He sat at the table with Tovren's hands and waved.

"I don't know either of them~!" he said, giggling. "I just know one of them reminds me of this other Gryffindor on the quidditch team~! Major anger issues galore, OMG~!"

Was that the girl her cousin and Jace were talking about in the food court? What a bimbo.

Emery was so embarrassed right now that both men had to act like that. She never had something like that happen before and she just looked in horror. “Guys stop, please.” she called back. Then once everyone was done fighting she heard some snickering and she glared. Wavering her wand and saying a simple spell, Emery shot something at the table which broke a couple of the glasses, and she immediately fled.

She didn’t feel like dealing with a laughing stoke hoping they broke glass put some fair inside of her. She didn’t feel like having to transfer schools again, and found some place to go and cry.

Tiffany watched in amazement at what happened and everyone comments. She may have been the only one who was Pro Emery since she liked when a Cartwright caused a tizzy. It’s how it should be and no one would take that away.

“She won’t be going after Booth, because he is yours Addison, but come on you can’t find it amazing when a Cartwright steals the show.” she said giving her a bit of a smirk, and when Tovren came over with some mystery guy. Tiffany let out a glare. “I’d like to start off by saying I’d rather not talk shit about Emery, since she is just doing what Cartwrights do, and that’s cause a show. I am Pro-Emery, since both men are complete yuck, and I will say I love your hair Cernu.” she said letting out a smile. She knew her friends were very loyal to her.

They were used to be the only ones who managed to start drama. “I say one of us fucks Ryker to make things better, and I’m sure Emery won’t mind.” she said giving a little of a chuckle. Getting up and walking over to Ryker, and placed a kiss on his lips, in front of everyone.

She liked drama, and right now she wanted Emery and her to cause drama. “How would you feel about fucking later?” she said letting out a little bit of a sigh.

Ryker grumbled when he was given detention. He didn't even get to throw a punch and he was still being punished. He looked at Emery but didn't say anything. He just gave her a look before suddenly Tiffany Cartwright was in front of him. "What do you want, Tiffany?" But instead of an answer, she kissed him. He figured why not have a bit of fun and maybe make Emery jealous at the same time, he pulled her laser to him and kisses her back "That sounds like a great time. Want to meet me at the clock tower tonight. Say around 9?"

Tiffany let out a smirk when Ryker kissed her back, and she looked at him. “That sounds good, since I’m sure you could use comforting after today’s event.” she said giving him a cruel smirk. She didn’t mind making Emery a little bit jealous, and she had whispered. “You better make a decision on who you like though.” she said giving him a dark glare. Before looking at everyone with a dark glare. “Everyone, please go back to your business.” she said in a dark tone. “Next person I see gossiping I will make sure you are next’s week hot topic, and I doubt any of you want that.” she said darkly, before turning to smirk at Ryker.
