on an adventure (lukas)

It was breakfast time in the Great Hall before morning classes and Comarth was sat on the Slytherin table, spooning back his porridge inside the bowl whilst glaring darkly at its consistancy. They always made it far too thick and gloopy for his liking, but that wasn't what was really bothering him. He didn't want to go to classes today: first was double history of magic and after that some astronomy theory and divinitation in the afternoon. He hated Wednesdays...

Glancing over at the Ravenclaw table, he looked at Lukas Parkinson and thought he could be in a similar state of misery. After everything that happened with Atticus, he always seemed to be in a melancholy mood and as a result, Comarth hadn't really spent as much time with him. He never really knew how to handle sympathy, but he did think of Lukas as one of his good friends, so perhaps the time had come to rip the bandage off and approach him.

Abandoning his porridge, he twirled around the other students and tables before standing behind him and tapping him lightly on the shoulder. Just before Lukas had a chance to turn, however, he lowered his head near the boy's shoulder and whispered to him: "Let's skip classes together."
