Lazar still couldn't believe that he had been lucky enough to get the newest, hottest girl at Hogwarts as his date to the dance; he didn't realize it could be so easy! He looked snazzier and less dorky than usual thanks to his father sending him one of his suits from when he attended Hogwarts; It wasn't exactly his style, but he had to impress Chase, and he wouldn't be able to do that by looking like his usual self. He also transfigured the frames of his glasses to look less round. He needed to look sharp to turn heads!

Being a gentleman, he stopped by the Hufflepuff common room with a bouquet of roses to pick Chase up. He couldn't wait to see what kind of dress she was wearing and how she did her hair. Lazar believed Chase was going to be the most beautiful girl at the entire dance. "Cuh-can you let Chase know I'm here..?" he asked one of her housemates who appeared to be exiting the common room.

Chase stood in the common room talking with a few of the other girls while she waited for Lazar to arrive. They tried to tell her that he was kind of a weirdo, but chase didn't care, "He was very sweet to me. I give everyone chances to make their own impression on me." She had on a tight floor length silver dress and a pair of Red high heels on her feet. Her hair was up in a bun with slight tendrils of dark hair framing her face. Her eyes had a smokey eyeshadow with silver sparkles in it and her lips were blood red. Suddenly, one of her house mates announced that her date was there and she walked to the protract. She stepped down and smiled at him, "Hi Lazar." She noticed the roses and smiled, "Those are beautiful."

His jaw dropped as he watched Chase approach him. Immediately, Lazar fell into the veela charm; he felt a glow run through his veins. Chase looked so ethereal...

"Y-you look great!" he complimented with a wide smile. Lazar would do as she pleased; he'd worship her very feet if he could. Handing her the flowers, he offered his arm for her to hold onto. "I-I think this is going to be a good night!"

Chase smiles at him, "You look nice as well. Did you change your glasses? Weren't they rounder before?" She asked, wondering if maybe she was just mistaken. She took the flowers and sniffed them, "Thank you." She then handed them to Maia who offered to put them in a vase for her before she took his arm, "It's going to be a great night. Were gonna have a lot of fun."

"Y-yes, I did!" She noticed his effort to look nicer and manlier! Lazar's cheeks flushed red as glee ran throughout his body. Was this how it felt to do drugs or be in love or what??? "Y-yes, we are! Let's go!" With Chase in his arms, he was sure to have one of the best entrances to the dance! He felt like a real man! That'd show MacKenna!

He began heading towards the direction of the gymnasium.

"They look very nice." She said as they walked. They got a few odd glances as they made there way to the dance but Chase ignored it, "I'm not much of a dance. I was put into modeling lessons as a child instead of dance class. So I'm sorry if I step on your feet through the night."

Lazar glanced around the gym in amazement; for once, he got to be one of the ones with a date. He was one of them. He was desirable, and it was all thanks to his bravery in the Forbidden Forest! "It's okay," he replied smiling. "I-I'm not the best dancer either..." She modeled too?! Wow... He was more like his father than people realized!

Chase felt comfort in knowing he couldn't dance that much either, "Well then. We can be terrible dancers together." She said as she looked around. The palace looked nice knowing it was a Gym. She saw a few people she had met briefly and for some unknown reason, she felt awkward, "Should we get a drink?"

"Yeah!" He was focused on having a good time and impressing her anyway; if bad dancing was part of it, then he'd be happy to show off his not-so-good rhythm for the entirety of Hogwarts to see! Lazar nodded. "Y-yes, please!" Oh, that was awkward of him! "I-I can pour us some..."

"Alright then. Do you want me to come with you or just wait?" She wasn't sure if he wanted her on his arm the whole night or not. She knew that some boys didn't like that. She had never experienced it thanks to her veela charm. But she knew it existed. She figured he might want to also talk to some of his guy friends. He wouldn't want her hanging around for his guy talk.

"You can come with me!"

Lazar thought it'd be cute to feed her a bit of finger foods like the people in ancient times did with grapes. Like he said before, he'd do anything to please Chase. Anything. He led her to the refreshments table where he grabbed two cups for the two of them. After pouring, he handed one of them over to Chase.

Chase followed him to the drink station and took the cup when he handed it to her, "Thank you." She slipped it and looked around, "So..." She didn't know what to talk about. This didn't happen for chase. "Do you have any family here?" She asked, curious if he had a large family or not. Chase didn't have much family. Just her and her parents.

"You're welcome!" Lazar felt confident being in her presence; he could do any and everything as long as Chase was there with him. He nodded. "Y-yeah, I have three cousins here! Lien, Mei, and Thalia!"

"Lien ... I think I met him briefly. He bragged about how he was gifted in bed." She said with a laugh. Sometimes it amused her how people reacted to her charm, "He's dating that one girl. Alexis?" That was wrong. But she couldn't remember the girls name.

@Lazar Tremlett

Oh, that's right! "Alayna? I-I don't know if they're actually to-together. He's nuh-never that into dating, and I, uh, had to persuade him to attend this..." Lazar glanced around the gymnasium until he spotted Lien. He looked about as out of his element as anyone would expect.

"Alayna. That's it. She seems nice. She's really pretty." She said, admiring the brunette girl from afar. "they're not? Well, they sure make it seem like they are." She said, looking at the couple again then turning back to Lazar, "He does seem a bit awkward. Maybe we should go say hello?"

@Lazar Tremlett

"Yeah, she is..." But she wasn't as stunning or angelic as Chase! Alayna wouldn't give him a second look because she wouldn't know just how brave and clever he was. "I-I guess. Thalia went alone, we could say 'Hi' to her too!"

Chase smiled and held her hand out to him, "Whatever you'd like." She said, a smile on her lips. "I don't think I've met Thalia yet." She hadn't met that many people yet, but she loved the idea of making new friends, "Where to first?"

"L-let's see Thalia! I-I think she'd like to meet you!" Lazar was pretty sure his cousin only knew of Chase in passing due to the story he told about their Forbidden Forest encounter. Once he took a sip of his drink, he began looking around to see where his cousin might've gone.

Chase smiled at the thought of meeting his cousin. He was a sweet heart, she assumed his cousin would be just as nice. "Do you know what she's wearing?" She asked, wondering if maybe they could spot her dress if they couldn't make out a face in the crowd.

Lazar nodded as he tried to recall what Thalia was wearing. Oh yeah! "Her dress is colorful and poofy. I think it has feh-feathers?" It should stand out, but it was hard to tell if she'd be noticeable knowing her eccentricities.

"A colorful poofy dress with feathers. Your cousin sounds fabulous." She said as she scanned the crowd. On the other side of the room, she saw a big poofy dress that definitely had feathers, "I think I see her. Over there!" She said, pointing to where she saw the dress

"Y-yeah, she's very out there!" Lazar loved how Thalia always rooted for him and just about anybody that were in her path. Looking other at Chase then at Thalia, he waved in what seemed to be her direction. "THALIA! Do you wanna see my date????"

Thalia turned when she heard her name, and hopped over to Lazar.

"Aye Lazar, ye had any of this drink yet? It smells like those paint removal potions my Dad uses."

She looked over her shoulder self-consciously, then back at him with a staggered whisper. "Do you think me Dad's here?"

Chase smiled as his cousin literally hopped over to them. She was an odd duck, she guessed. But hey, odd was better than boring. "Why would your dad be here?" She asked, curious as to if parents often attended school events. She then smiled at the girl, "I'm chase, by the way. Nice to meet you."
