Lazar still couldn't believe that he had been lucky enough to get the newest, hottest girl at Hogwarts as his date to the dance; he didn't realize it could be so easy! He looked snazzier and less dorky than usual thanks to his father sending him one of his suits from when he attended Hogwarts; It wasn't exactly his style, but he had to impress Chase, and he wouldn't be able to do that by looking like his usual self. He also transfigured the frames of his glasses to look less round. He needed to look sharp to turn heads!

Being a gentleman, he stopped by the Hufflepuff common room with a bouquet of roses to pick Chase up. He couldn't wait to see what kind of dress she was wearing and how she did her hair. Lazar believed Chase was going to be the most beautiful girl at the entire dance. "Cuh-can you let Chase know I'm here..?" he asked one of her housemates who appeared to be exiting the common room.

Chase frowned at the hot headed boy and just shook her head. She turned and walked back to Lazar and Thalia, the frown still on her face, "I'm sorry I ran off like that. I was trying to get him to apologize. He's such a prick." She turned to Lazar, "Are you alright?"

Lazar grinned at Chase; she was the best date ever! Now there's another person he can count on to be there for him!

"I-I'm fine! I stood up to him too! I'm a man now!"

He looked over at Thalia briefly. "Do we want to see how Lien's doing..?"

"Don't worry about MacKenna. The best way of dealing with him is by ignoring him. He can't stand it!"

Thalia giggled.

"Oh, aye! I cannay believe he's actually here. We should definitely disturb his date."

She grinned.

"I saw that. You were very confident." She said, kissing Lazars cheek and giving him a smile. "Lien is your other cousin? I'd love to go say hi." She then looked at Thalia, "Then again maybe we shouldn't. If he's on a date..." She didn't want to make things awkward

He almost fainted getting a kiss on the cheek from Chase. Oh this was already such a great night!

"I-it's fine! Lien needs the social interaction!" Lazar added smiling at the two of them. "Let's go!"
