shot through the heart (Alyn)

Ariel was running as she kept running at the sound of thrashing. The sound of buildings going and she looked around sighing. She was not trained for this, but she had been using all her muggle techniques. Her belt was filled with all sorts of knives and her wand.

She wasn’t going.

Running down the alley, she saw people dying left and right. She sighed as she saw them fall and she made her way through the crowd, and she soon spotted someone. “Alyn!” sounded Ariel hoping he was okay. She knew his ex had been Alayna, and she wanted to get to him.

One of the death eaters had chased a number of them down an alleyway, and Alyn was narrowly missing jets of green light blazing over his head. That was the killing curse. It had to be. A girl running next to him got struck by it and fell straight to the ground: head-up, her eyes lack lustre and very, very dead.

That was going to be him. That was going to be him, if he didn't do something.

Instead of trying to hide, however, he did something that was probably completely stupid. He fell to the ground, and played dead. It seemed the death eater was satisfied, as they moved onwards after a few minutes. He kept very still though.

Alyn!

He rolled over onto his back, and looked at Ariel. "Ariel... they're dead..." he said blankly, his eyes wide and terrified.
