Unexpected surprise (Dagger)

Alayna had to a bit of back to school shopping before making her grand reappearance at Hogwarts. She was excited to go back. She had missed her friends and oddly enough she missed her family too. She was a bit nervous though, but she was sure it would all be fine.

Dagger needed to get some things from Hogsmeade before he started his new job, it was job that paid really good and he wanted to make sure all was good before he began his job. As he was walking he walked into someone and sighed. "Whoops" was all he had said. When he looked to see who it was he sighed a bit.

Alayna just stared at him in silence. she was t sure what to say or do at that point. She chewed on her bottom lip before finally deciding to end the awkward silence, "Hey Vettel." She said, her voice soft and nervous.

He had to stop himself from rolling his eyes a bit when it came to his last name. "Hey Nott, kind of stunned to see you're back from wherever you went" Dagger expressed his feeling.

"Kind of surprised you even noticed I was gone." She hadn't heard from him once the entire time she had been away. And it hurt. Granted, he had no idea where she had gone, but he could have found out. She looked up at him and sighed

When it came to Dagger and Alayna he had knew that it wouldn't last since she was someone who came from a family he wouldn't keep up with. He had made some dumb decisions and he was glad to be rid of said dumb decisions. "You did just up and leave, what was I supposed to be like the cheesy females who wait for someone. No, I am not that person" Dagger retorted.

"You know I didnt want to leave. My father made me and after putting a ring on my finger, yes, I stupidly thought you'd be here when I got back. Because you told me you loved me but I should have known better than to believe anything that came from you you're just a player and fuck boy. and that's all you ever will be, Killian." She said his name with venom and narrowed her eyes at him. She knew he hated using his real name. But at that point she didnt care. She was hurt.

Dagger couldn't help but chuckle at her failed attempt to piss him off, something that was hard to do but it was easy to do when it was a male. "Yes your father did send you away but how did I know if it was going to be for multiple years or not? I waited the first two months then I moved on when your father told me you weren't coming back, but you're right I am a fuck boy and a player but you're the one that fell for both" he didn't care if he hurt her or not, he was done with weakness in his life. He tried to fall in love and he believed he had and then he dumbly got played and refuses to once more unless he knows in his gut.

Alayna felt the tears start to prick at the back of her eyes. The things he was saying hurt. They hurt because she still cared,she still loved him. She sniffled and shook her head, "Then there's nothing else to say." And that was true. She couldn't talk to him when he was like this. It was pointless.

Dagger shrugged when it came to her. "Well I guess there isn't, I don't know what you want me to say so if that is all we should just go our separate ways then" he shrugged.
