unexpected visit (alayna)

Theodore was amongst a small Ministry party who had access to Hogwarts castle, following an incident that occurred at the school on Halloween. Fortunately, none of his own children had been affected by what sounded completely barbaric.

He wasn't a Herbologist, but as he was an Unspeakable there was an interest within the Department of Mysteries to uncover what this 'vine' truly was. Having already gathered his sample and investigated the area of the forbidden forest, Theodore stood on the grounds by the black lake. He would have to wait for some of his other colleagues before heading back.

Alayna had decided to go for a walk as the weather was nice enough out. As she walked near the Black Lake, she froze when she saw who was by it. She could feel her heart start to race faster and her breathing get shallow, "Father?"

Theodore turned, fixing his sullen expression on his only daughter. He felt as though he hadn't looked at her properly in a few years, because she appeared to have grown. He noted how much she seemed to resemble Daphne, and therefore had no real feeling towards her growth.

"Come here," He ordered, turning back to face the lake.

Alayna hesitated before deciding to just do as she was told. She walked down towards him and stood at his side. She kept her hands linked behind her back and stared at the water, "What are you doing here?" She asked, not looking up from the lake.
