Let's Make that Money (invite Only)

Kenzi slipped the key that her father had given her into the padlock around the sliding door of a warehouse in the Canary Wharf district. One of the few original buildings, it had come into the family's possession a number of years ago, before the revitalization of the surrounding area had really begun. For a time, it made the perfect staging area for their dug trafficking operations before Kenzi was even alive. As the area around it got revitalized, it became too dangerous to use as a hub for illegal operations, so it became a hub for some of her father's more legal dealings, but tonight, tonight was going to returned to it's original purpose.

Kenzi carefully slipped into the building, giving a head nod to the single guard sitting in one of the front offices. The guard nodded back and went out the open door, closing it behind him. Then Kenzi moved into the main area of the warehouse, where sitting in the middle of the floor was a pallet of cocaine. Setting her magically extended bag down, Kenzi started pulling out the various handguns she had been keeping there, putting them onto a folding table that was sitting in the corner of the room. The last one she pulled out was her own personal Deagle, the weapon that her father had gotten her for her birthday. Everythings was set up, now all she had to do was to wait for her associates to arrive.

Discordia wanted to make sure to get to this warehouse place before whoever else was invited came along; she was curious to see what was bubbling up in her girlfriend's brilliant mind. It took her a while to find that particular warehouse (she wasn't good with Muggle world geography) until she found one that appeared to have a sliding door; this must be it.

She entered and had to deal with some of the guards residing there to make sure they knew that she was who she said she was. Once Discordia was escorted to where Kenzi was, she smiled.

"Oh, what do you have there, dear?"

Amara took out the note that she had received earlier in the day and used her wand to do the particular spell that would show her the address. That was all that was written on the paper, nothing more and as quickly as the writing had appeared, it disappeared once more. Even with the address, it took Amara a little longer than she would have hoped to find the place. She didn't hand our in places such as this, so she didn't really know what she was looking for. Finally, she found something that looked like it might be the place and looked around before walking inside. Once inside, she was immediately stopped by a guard and asked to explain herself, she gave the guy the information he needed and she was gestured through the warehouse.

She walked into a large space and the first thing she saw was the pile of square packages that could only be bricks of cocaine. Then she saw Kenzi and Discordia over to one side. She approached them. "Time to make some money." She said with a grin in way of greeting.

Kenzi couldn't help but smile as she saw Discordia arrive. Even though they were constantly around each other, Kenzi never got tired of her fiance. When Discordia asked her question, picked up one of the pistols that she had laid on the table, "It's insurance dear, you remember me teaching you how to shoot right?"

Soon enough Amara appeared also, meaning the the group was ready for the job at hand. Kenzi laughed at Amara's comment, before staying, "Yes, it's that time. We are going to be transporting this up to Edinburgh using apparition. Only person who knows this is happening is my dad, he's cleared the arrival zone, so there shouldn't be too much issues, but we are going to have to rely on muggle weapons if things go bad, since we'll be deep in a muggle area." Kenzi slipped her personal Deaggle into the waistband of her jeans, before passing a pistol to Discordia. As she goes to pass one to Amara, Kenzi asks, "You know how to shoot right?"

"I do. I may jump when I do. I am not as used to gunshots still." It was very much a learning process for Discordia, but it was something useful.

Ah, so her girlfriend recruited a Gryffindor. This shall be interesting.

Amara listened to Kenzi as the girl explained just what they would be doing with the shipment that sat in the center of the large room. Seemed simple enough to Amara. Though, then the subject of muggle weapons cane up and one was handed to her, she shrugged. ”Aim, pull the trigger, and wait for the bang, right?” she hadn’t ever actually shot a gun before but how hard could it really be? She had seen muggle action movies enough times that she thought she might be able to handle it.

She then took the gun and examined it for a moment. ”Is there a safety on this thing?” because she couldn’t imagine Kenzi sticking it in her waistband if not... and she didn’t want to get out there and pull the trigger and nothing happen if they got into hot water. Maybe she should have gotten some sort of training in muggle weaponry before this... but she hoped that she could figure it out on the fly.

Kenzi observed the two girl's talking about the weapons. "Well, let's hope we don't have to actually use them tonight, and yes, they do have safeties on them," Kenzi stated as she started to hand a bag to each girl, "This is how we are going to transport the product, this should be a relatively simple in an out job for big money, but we need to be aware in case shit goes sideways. Anymore questions before we begin?"

Discordia looked at the bag. "What is the product, dear girlfriend?"

Amara took the bag that was handed to her after tucking the pistol in the waist of her jeans. She would much rather be able to use her wand but alas, she could follow directions and use the gun instead if she had to. ”Nope, no questions.” she resisted the urge to fill Discordia in on what they were transporting since the question wasn’t directed at her. She wasn’t here to ruffle feathers, just to make some cash.

Kenzi took her girlfriend's comment in stride, "The product is cocaine." Then, after a moment of consideration, Kenzi added, "How much do you know about muggle drugs dear?"

"My dear brother, Deimos, is much more familiar with them than I am. He has a huge stash he sells to vulnerable people and addicts."
