You Oaf! [Open]

Dahlia was in the common room with one of her cauldrons set up in front of her. She hated that she had to be reduced to this while people bustled around her but she couldn't have her own private quarters here like she did back home, unfortunately. So, she just had to work around her fellow Slytherins as they came and went. It put a bit of a damper on her creative mind when it came to creating potions but she would find a way, she always did. She was adding a small bit of liquid from a vial when someone bumped into her and the whole vial fell into the bubbling mixture. A puff of smoke came from the cauldron and Dahlia was thankful it didn't explode even as she turned on her poor housemate. "Would you watch what you're doing?!? You could have killed us both, you bloody oaf." She said, not raising her voice but making her displeasure very clear regardless.

After an entire four and a half minutes of doing homework in the dormitory, Comarth was blessed by an epiphany, scrambled up from his bed, and went picking around the vicinity for several different materials. Carrying a pile of objects ranging from a clothing brush to a bundle of tooth picks, he was clambering down the stairs into the common room when his leg caught something solid.

There was a shower of tooth picks, a puff of smoke, and a set of vicious eyes glaring at him. Comarth looked at her quietly, eyeing her cauldron, the liquid spilling onto the carpet, then back up to her again.

"In what way?" he asked, interested.

Wouldn't you know it, she couldn't even have been lucky enough for the person who ruined her potion to be some little first year or something that she could effectively intimidate with a sharp glare. No, it had to be Comarth; of course, he had questions. A loud sound of frustration left her lips as she thought of strangling him with his bare hands. "Potions can be volatile, Selwyn. But rest assured, it would have a much painless death than the one I am picturing for you at this moment." She said, glaring at him without a hint of remorse for her threats or sharp tone. "I've been working on this potion for hours and you've ruined it." She turned back to the cauldron and took out her wand, using a cleaning spell as the potion on the carpet began to bubble and pop, threatening to spray droplets on their legs if they stood too close.
