me, myself & i (open)

Louis knew that his class and homework schedule was going to take up a lot of his time, so he decided that now was a sensible time to get something out the way. He wanted to apply for an internship at St Mungo's for when he left Hogwarts, and went to the library for some solace as he tried to write a personal statement. This was basically where he had to write his achievements, ambitions, about his character and about his predicted NEWT grades.

Then, he had to get a small written statement from two professors as references.

Then send it off, and await the reply.

He had got as far as finding a desk in the library and pulling out a few books for references he could quote. He thought if he added things about the titles he had read and studied, that could work in his favour. Now came the difficult part... writing about himself...

Alayna knew she had to study for an upcoming potions test. Snape was not one to allow slacking off in his classes. When she got to the library she saw it was pretty crowded except for one table which only had one person. She walked over holding her books in her arms "kind of I sit?" She asked the boy. She knew him. It was Louis Weasley. Carina's little bit toy. He was cute, she would give him that.

Louis looked up at her. He realised that it was rather crowded in there, so he couldn't have a table all to himself. He smiled kindly at her, and nodded. There was something familiar about her, and he was quite sure her name was Alayna. Names were something that Louis was very good at. He knew others' names before they knew his, most of the time.

"Of course not, Alayna." He said gently.

Alayna smiled and sat down "thanks Louis" she said since he obviously knew her name "surprised you're not here with Carina. You guys are practically attatched at the hip nowadays. " She said with a small laugh so he knew she was joking. But still, Carina practically talked about him non stop

It was nice to know that Carina talked about him to her friends.

"I'm trying to get some things out of the way so we can spend some more time together," He explained, looking over his parchment and what he had written so far. "At this rate, I'll have to cut our date short. And I don't want to do that." He had a lot of work to do already and it was only the first week of the term.

"I'm writing a personal statement that could get me an internship at St Mungo's when I leave here," He explained, "It's actually harder for me to write this than essays..."

He paused, then smiled. "How about you, what are you working on?"

Alayna smiled at his statement and thought the two actually made a cute couple "I see. So a healer huh? That's the goal?" She asked thinking it was a coincidence that Carina wanted to go into the same field "yeah. It's hard to talk about yourself sometimes. Whenever someone asks me about myself I forget everything about who I am. It all goes blank" when he asked her what she was working on she held up her potions book "potions homework. I'm horrible at it"

Louis beamed, and nodded. "Mhm."

He was quite proud of his goals. He had also considered teaching for as long as he could remember. Playing pretend with his sisters, Louis often insisted that he was the teacher and they were the students. But teaching at Hogwarts always required more hands on experience; what better than to start at St Mungo's?

He peeked at her homework. "I doubt you're horrible at it," He said kindly, "But it's clear to see why you're having difficulties. Amortentia is a difficult potion. Maybe I could try and help you out?" He suggested.
