Surrounded by the words of others (open)

Andrea sat in a little nook of the library with a few books beside her. She currently had one open and was reading about the origins of healing magic and some old rituals she had never heard of before. She loves coming here. She was always learning something new. She studied the pages of the books as if trying to commit them to memory

Xia found her way to library, the girl just felt like she should study about her stuff before the classes actually start. This is when she noticed she wasn't only one here. "Hey, do you mind If I sit here near you. Just hate to be at there front where it's always so loud," she said with a small smile. She had few books in her hand too, she decided to become healer one day. So she was reading some healing books.

Andrea smiled politely and bowed her head to the girl, as she had been doing since the age of 3 when she was able to learn to curtsy. Growing up in a house with such rules and traditions and expectations was hard, but that was just being a pureblood. Being a princess on top of it was just so much extra. She found her mind wandering and decided to use her voice instead of a simple nod, "Yes of course." She moved a few of her books around to make a spot for the girl, "I am Andrea." Her accent very prominent on the 'r' in her name.

Xia looked at the girl and just took a seat once the girl said it was okay to do so. She loved the idea of meeting new people also in her first day. "Oh nice to meet you Andrea, I'm Xia," she said with a smile. She could tell that her accent wasn't from England, rather somewhere else. You could even hear accent in Xia English, and even her name was death give away that she wasn't born here.

Andrea was a bit surprised by the foreign name, she didn't meet many other foreigners since moving here. Just a lot of British people, "It's nice to hear an accent that doesn't sound like it drowned in tea this morning." She said, trying to make a subtle joke, "Where are you from?"

Xia just chuckled on what the girl said there now. "Woah, I guess you mean the British accent. Their some words are so weird yes," she had to agree on that for sure. So much different than she knew how to pronounce them from her previous studies. "I'm orginally from South Korea. I moved England four years ago. To search my father side of the family," she said with a small smile.

"Yes. They all sound so prim and proper. I mean, I'm used to prim and proper; but this is more.... Stuffy?" She said, trying to pick the right word. Growing up royalty, Andrea too was often referred to as prim and proper. So she didn't know why she judged so much. "South Korea? Why. That's so cool. I've always wanted to visit there." Andrea wished to travel the world after her studies of her brother did not have other plans for her.

Xia smiled and nodded her head. "Well not sure exactly what stuffy means but sure I guess," she said with a shurg. English was her second language, so it was not easy for her to know every word out there. "Well if you do, I don't mind showing you around there," she said with a small smile on her face. She did love her country for sure.
