Edith stood around near the stage after getting herself a glass of virgin elderberry cocktail, trying to ease some of her worries involving her eldest daughter; she hadn't seen her daughter arrive to the dance yet, but she also didn't receive a message or call from her since she checked in on her not too long ago. Ever since she heard the news about her coming grandchild, Edith had to come up with a few contingency plans to make sure her own daughter wasn't having her child at Hogwarts. Of course, all of those plans meant that Evelyn was still pregnant by the night of the formal.

Taking a drink from her glass, Edith crossed her arms and tapped her foot impatiently. Did she have to be there for the entire four or so hours of the formal? She needed to get her beauty sleep for an early day at the Daily Prophet tomorrow morning.
