overpile and work regime (darcy)

Flor sat by the desk in which was by the chairs doing some schoolwork. He was trying to keep his grades up the best this year and make his parents happy even if they weren't ever pleased by him anymore. He hated being a royal a lot due to how tiring it got and while writing his notes down he sighed.

It was beyond tiring anymore.

The school year just started and he was filled with work, and he said. “Don’t you think the work is a little much especially with our electives right now?” asked Flor hoping for some clarity and not being alone.

Darcy was feeding his spider as he looked over at his housemate who seemed to be struggling.

"Not really. I, um, my electives are more practical."

A groan came and he knew he should have taken more practical ones.

“I should have tried more practical ones not Ancient Runes and Airthmancy.”

His other two weren’t bad, but it was still a lot of work for him.

"Are they really as difficult as everyone claims?" Darcy wondered; he simply signed up for electives as he found them interesting or up his alley.

Florian sat back in his chair and shrugged, “Kind of it’s just the workload.”

That’s what he thought about it anyway.

"How long of a parchment do they assign to you anyway?"

He was awful at theory in general.

"Way too much! Like Professor Raywood gave us a whole list." he sighed, he thought Professor Raywood had no care about the workload she gave her students.

He leaned back, and said, "She's so aloof."

Darcy's eyes widened. "That's insane! I'm glad I didn't sign up for ancient runes!"

"Yeah you definitely dodged a bullet." he said with a bit of a chuckle.

He took the time to look right at the schoolwork, and right now he was dreading quite a bit right now .This had him definitely feeling some kind of way right now.

"I'd say she's more aloof than mean. She thinks she is the best."

There wasn't an exact word to describe Professor Raywood.

"Whatever she is, she sorta scares me in the corridors alone!"

His spider proceeded to crawl all around them.

Florian was terrified of Professor Raywood. Who wasn’t?

“I guess it’s good you don’t have her.”

"I probably would've failed the class anyway!"

Darcy knew that he wasn't the smartest of students. "I do better when the work isn't as theoretical..."

Florian highly doubted it maybe he was too hopeful.

“Darcy you are the smartest guy I know. I wish I could be as a good as you.”

He was gorgeous too.

"Um, I'm not that smart. I'm not in Ravenclaw for a reason!"

Darcy did wonder if Florian was exaggerating, but it was quite the compliment.
