broken and beautiful (ryker)

Hazel was trying to not let things bother her in the slightest. She knew if she did she’d be heartbroken that Louis chose Cherry over her since she did like him. She could have been nicer, but she couldn’t fix the past. She didn’t need a guy to distract herself anyway, and decided to plan her event in one of the bathrooms where no one could bother her. It was a good thing about the bathrooms especially Moaning Myrtles. She had her wand and was planning everything by waving her wand. The sound of a door opening led her to turn. “This place is off limits I must remind you.” she pointed out.

Ryker was still managing to get himself lost all over this damn castle. Damn moving staircases and forbidden corridors. It was all a death trap in his eyes. He opened a door, hoping it was the potions room only to find a bunch of bathroom stalls and... Hazel Cartwright? He smirked and closed the door behind him, leaning against it, "Since when have I been one for rules, gorgeous?"

Hazel was not pleased by Ryker. “If you want to gain any credit here I wouldn’t recommend wanting to lose house points.” she said looking up. “Let me guess you trying to seek vengeance on Emerald? I am not going to betray my sister.” she said giving him a look. “If you want someone I’d go for Alayna crowd.”

"Emerald has nothing to do with my compliments. Did you ever think maybe you were the one i wanted this whole time and I settled for your sister? Wait no, that's not what I meant. Settle isn't the right word. God, you- you make my brain all crazy, cartwright. Have you not seen that?" He looked hazel over and a dopey smile spread across his face, "Let me start over. Hello hazel. You look nice. What are you doing in here? What even is here?"

Hazel didn’t believe in getting even with people and right now she just was taken aback by Ryker. “I highly doubt that since you and Emerald were close for years, and you only broke up because she didn’t like being groped.” she said giving him a shrug. “I suppose I can say thank you for the compliment. You don’t look bad yourself, I just don’t get what you see in me?” she said looking up at him. “I’m a little bit out of your league wouldn’t you think?” she said giving him a bit of a shrug.

"Yes we were cloclose. I befriended her tto go closer to you. But eventually she confessed feelings and I didn't want to break her heart. And I felt she wanted to be with the Finnigan dude. And I honestly wanted to be with someone else. Why do you think I came here? To be near you." He smirked a bit when she said he looked good, "You're beyond out of my league. But I still want to try."

Hazel rolled her eyes. “That sounds like such a dick move. You know I don’t like people who hurt my sister.” she said giving him a shrug. “Emery had a rough life and at least Finnigan didn’t use her.” she said giving him a glare. “How could you?” she said giving him a sigh. “I don’t hate you, I just am unsure since I don’t think I could date someone who used my sister.” she said giving him a sigh. Forgetting Emery had slept with Jovian.

"Yeah. I guess I am kind of a dick. I don't blame you, really." He said, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. "I didn't intend to use her. I did care for her. I just had stronger attraction to you, I guess. I don't know, Hazel." He looked at her and walked over, to where he vould reach out and stroke back some of her hair, "Imagine how it would look on my end. But I'm still willing to take the risk."
