Although there was still a couple of weeks until auditions for this year's spring production, Mariposa was in the dressing room of the auditorium trying out a few makeup and hair looks to figure out her physical range; she already knew she had the acting chops! But imagine: how extravagant could she look if the department had budget similar to both Broadways? She used the record player that was in the room to listen to a few Broadway soundtracks as she did her makeup. She glanced down at the vanity table and shuddered seeing the eyelash curler; it always looked like some medieval torture device, and she preferred falsies as they felt more exaggerated for the stage. Grabbing some eyelash glue, she jumped, accidentally squirting a bit onto the table upon hearing the intercom loudly come on. That was a waste of glue! No falsies it was! Now that she thought about it, where were her falsies?!

Half-dressed, she stepped out of the dressing room and began looking around the auditorium for where she stuck her bag. Why didn't she take it with her?!
