Marianna didn’t like the idea of doing community service, but she liked to give back to the community. Her sister was watching Eliana for her while she went to Mountain Ridge to help out, or at least give some things that her mother wanted to donate.

She knew it be a student council event that Marianna wanted no part in. She didn’t want to see her baby daddy, or Zuriel. The burdens of her existence if you ask her, and she arrived with a box of old clothes. It was chilly, but she had a warming charm in her jacket to keep her warm.

Walking over to the service table, she went to place the box down. Although the sound of footsteps made her turn, “What do you want Picquery?” she asked hoping to god he didn’t start preaching.

For the winter break community service project, Alastar had raised money to buy various foods to stock all the food pantries with along with much-needed products for various shelters. It was a good way to show the holiday spirit through the joy of giving! Alastar had been looking forward to this day since they first came up with the project months ago. He made a few batches of bags full of various necessities along with one box being full of toys to help children not feel left out. His parents were helping him drop off various boxes to have on the service table when he decided to greet his fellow members, schoolmates, and community members that had come out for such a great day!

After he asked one of his parents to do the charm that prevented his glasses from fogging up, Alastar power walked to the table and smiled at the girl who was there. "Hiya, y'all!" he waved to her and everyone else that was nearby. "I'm just wishing you a good 'un!" He wished everybody that. 'What did you bring?"

Marianna didn’t like student council in the slightest and their image they portrayed since they were fake. She was just doing her good deed for the day, and making her mother happy. Giving him a smile, once he came over, she handed him the box. “It’s some old clothes that Eliana is growing out of and my mother cleaned out our closest. I also got some food if you’d like me to bring it, it’s my mom sending you best wishes.” she said hoping to keep it quick.

She didn’t want to see Zuriel and Eliana’s dad who would shoo her off the premises, so Marianna needed to make this quick. She had looked at Alastar, “Is Zuriel here? I don’t want to make this more painful than it’s already here. I’m here to help out.” she said in a stern tone. They didn’t stand for honor in the slightest.

"Bless your heart!" he exclaimed cheerfully glancing at what Marianna had brought. How thoughtful! So many babies will be able to stay warm and dressed letting them and their parents to be happy! "Yes, bring food! The pantries will appreciate it!" This was already going so peachy keen! Alastar smiled widely as he began opening the box full of to-go bags that he wanted to hand out to as many people as possible.

Zuriel? "I don't know, Marianna, I just got here!" He hoped he was there as this event worked best if everyone in the council did their part!

That wasn't very helpful, to say the least, Marianna let out a sigh "I'd rather him not show up." she said. She had no intentions of being bullied and humiliated by the likes of him. She supposed if she helped out no one could throw a bitch card at her right now, since she was after all doing a civic duty.

"Want me to help you with those bags?" she said giving Star a smile. She probably could do a much better job than Zuriel and Eliana's father could ever do. At least she knew what struggle was like.

"How come?" Zuriel's priorities were a bit different, but Alastar figured that he was elected to the student council with good reasons; after all, Ilvermorny has always been a fairly democratic school, and the existence of student council exemplified that. Alastar felt as if that the more people who helped around the school, the better. It was important for everyone to lend a helping hand after all!

Smiling, Alastar nodded. "Yes, please!" he affirmed cheerfully as he began pulling some bags out of the box to spread out on the table.
