Tovren had invited Tiffany and Addison to Xanadu Thermae on a spa weekend before the New Year, and it was surprisingly empty around that time of year. People were usually spending time with their families for the holidays, so they had no time to spend a luxury trip to the California hot springs. For them, though, they always made time for a spa date during school breaks. It was like a tradition between them.

Before he was due for his massage, Tovren was relaxing around the pool and went into the sauna with Tiffany.

"So that guy who was hanging around my cousin at the mall, who is she?" He someone 'she' if he wanted to emphasise their attitude problem, no matter what their gender. "He was saying there was something between your cousin and his brother, and he was like stalkery about her. What was up with that?"

Tiffany was taking advantage of the weekend when she went to the spa with Tovren and Addie because they needed to do this getaway. She knew Emerald was coming in within the next couple of days, so this was the perfect time for her to make waves for Emery to join her friend group. Sitting waiting for a message from Tovren, she listened to him speak. "That is Jace Melkor who is the seeker for Wampus, and one of our school's many trailer trash," she said with a shrug.

It was truly disgusting how much trash this school had come across.

"Jace probably wants to find some way to corrupt, Em. His brother is Ryker, who literally blames all his problems on Emerald leaving to go live with her family," she said with a pout. Giving a darker look, "Ryker and Emery had a thing, and I'm pretty sure they lost virginity to each other or something, and he still fucks her." she sighs.

She shrugged, "Jace isn't a stalker though, but he's fucking weird." she said, and certainly an insult to the LGBTQ+ community in the eyes of Tiffany.

"Oh her. Yeah, I know her. You mentioned him before." Her and him seemed interchangeable. He was, however, talking about Ryker and the thing he had with Emerald. "But that was like... years ago. He's still not over it? Awwh, oh my god. I'm kinda touched."

He put his hand on his chest and fluttered his eyes, but it didn't seem all too sincere as he lowered them soon after.

"I guess Jace did get me a tomato cleanse juice, but before he was all in my face about it. He said something like 'that's a one-way ticket to an eating disorder' or something. Who says that? That could be, like, so offensive to some people."

He pulled a face.

"I don't like him. I don't know. Like you said - mega weirdo. He was totally bad mouthing you."

Addison as running late for the annual spa date, but it was fine. She knew it wouldn't matter when she arrived, as long as she did so with organic fruit smoothies in hand from their favorite little cafe. She walked into the room with a wide smile on her face, "Sorry I'm late. I being apology smoothies." She said holding up the cup holder of fruity goodness before setting on a near by counter top, "You have no idea how much I need this right now." She said before stepping into the sauna with them. When she felt the steam hit her, it was like an instant relation. She felt her body unwind and felt herself sinking back into the wooden bench, "What are we talking about?"
