Professor Riddle approached the staff room, glancing about his shoulder to see if there was anyone lurking around inside the corridor. His hair was completely off: the intricate varying shades of greying blond were all a single tone, and his eyes were quite obviously blue despite their usual dark brown.

Out of all the Professors, Ptolemy was going to assume the appearance of one he actually had respect for.

No one was around there anyway, as far as he could tell. The morphing was just for precaution. Once he was inside the empty room, he went searching for the magical leyline that connected the loud speaker system around Hogwarts. It wasn't hard to find. He figured it would be in there.

Going inside the small office, he changed into Perdita. He needed a voice no one would recognise. And he had to do this quickly, or the Professors may catch him. Quickly, clearly, concisely.

"Good evening students of Hogwarts."

Good. Her voice was amplified and broadcasting all around the castle.  In the gymnasium where the students were, in the common rooms: from the north tower to the dungeons.

"There's really something you should all know that's been brought to my attention. It's about the son of The Chosen One, the one we all expected to be the golden child. Well, it can't come as a shock to you that he isn't. That's not what I want to talk about, though." Perdita paused, smirking. "I wanted to talk about how he's been lying to us all. I want to talk to you about how he isn't what he says he is, what he insists he is. All the poor girls he has strung along until now deserve to know the truth - that James Potter, is in fact, gay."

"That's right. He's gay. Always has been. If you thought he ever loved you? I can assure you, he didn't. He was just using you. What he really wants is your brother, your ex boyfriend... or your current one."

"Right now he's trying to steal Alayna's. He's completely smitten with Lien Chang - although he's quite clearly not into you, Jamesy. So why don't you stop ruining everyone else's happiness with your perpetual lies? We all know what you are now. Gay. Gay and very, very sad. Sad enough to try and bring us all down with you."

"Well. It's been nice to chat with you all, but it seems I must go now. Toodle pip."

There were sounds from the corridor outside the staff room. Perdita quickly stood up and turned back into Professor Riddle. Then he grinned to himself, very satisfied with what he accomplished. What a nice way to round off the evening.

Emery felt her arm being grabbed by Jovian and she looked at him. “I’m trying to find James and see if he’s alright.” said with a sigh as much as she hated him for joining her Quidditch team. She still felt terrible for what’s going. “No one deserved this to happen to them. I know the pain of coming from a rich family, but he should still be proud of who he is.” she said hoping Jovian could see her sympathy. She was a member of the LGBTQ+ organization too. She hoped Jovian loved her or liked her enough to understand why she did this.

Ptolemy's eyes swept over Ingrid's form.

"You look rather nice... for a change."

He gave her a strange look.

"What am I supposedly responsible for? This shambles of a dance?" Ptolemy snorted.

Spotting her sister, Marilyn went to her. "I can't believe you're stuck with him forever!"

He didn't think it really made a difference if James Potter was gay. Then again, he didn't really comprehend these things. He just knew others were from peculiar backgrounds.

Hazel felt like her anger for Louis was something that misplaced. She just didn’t want to pin anything on him. That was until she heard an announcement, and she had turned to look in anger. “This is so fucked up that someone would do that.” she said and immediately texted Louis.

“I’m sorry for being mad at you.”

She hoped Louis would respond, because she felt like her anger was wrong for him, but she didn’t trust Carina and Alayna.

Emery didn’t like James to say the least, but she had cared about doing the right thing. It wasn’t right to be exposed. “It’s important, because right now he’s more than likely feeling ashamed of who he is.” she said with a shrug. “I may think he’s an asshole, but he was literally just exposed.” she sighed.

Typical guy giving a girl a compliment to hide what he did. “Thank you.” she pointed out with an attitude. “I’m not stupid either, because anyone who could have possibly known about this is Alayna, and you are one her cronies. You are so going to get expelled for what you did.” she pointed out. It be nice to see them face punishment.

"How could you have possibly arrived at that conclusion? Students had been suspecting it for weeks. It could have been any one of them."

He just grinned at her.

"Perhaps if you are that soft for Potter, you should console him. I, for one, just wished to enjoy my night. Potter isn't even here and everything is about him. Again."

Ptolemy sighed.

"Unless you want to dance with me, I suppose you should move along."

Medea had just arrived to the dance after shuffling through her closet to find something appropriate yet eye-catching. She didn't know where her twin was, but she smiled at the chaos.

"Guess I arrived at the right time..."

Savannah looked at archer as he spoke, "I doubt this was how he wanted everyone to find out. Being exposed like this. It's awful."

Aquila had a hard time believing what she was hearing over the intercom. Was James really gay? That was unexpected! She didn't like how mean-spirited the girl was though. It was a good thing she didn't care too much about gossip, but this was such a cruel thing to do!

Lilith was surprised by the announcement? Potter was gay? That was an interesting turn of events. She just hoped Discordia didn't get any idea about 'Fixing' him
