Gem had skipped her classes today because she had been way too hungover from the night prior, and she didn't think she'd have the mental capacity to sit through class. She dragged Emery with her since she knew that if she didn't Emery would be fucking some random guy, and Gem didn't want that. It was supposed to be a day when they didn't sleep with anyone, and they both went up to Moaning Myrtle's Bathroom, and Gem shouted. "Myrtle, we've come to join you," she spoke knowing the ghost hated her reckless behavior because Gem decided to put a dung bomb down her toilet in her second year because she wanted a good laugh.

She knew Myrtle would be pissed off once she lit the joint in the bathroom. Emery had found them a place by the supposed entrance to the Chamber of Secrets, and both girls sat. Gem knew Emery was on thin ice by smoking pot in the girl's bathroom, but all the prefects should be in classes right now. The girl put on the radio and blasted some Eddie Van Halen as she began to sway in the bathroom as she lit her joint. "I get up and nothing gets me down!" she starts singing, and she closed her eyes. Gem was obsessed with Eddie Van Halen.

It was her free period, so Cherry was doing the double task of working on assignments and doing unscheduled patrols. If she was able to, maybe she'd also squeeze in time for a bit of TLC in her dorm. Just depended on where her next class was.

Cherry was walking down the corridor when she heard some muggle music blasting out of the muggle bathroom. Going by the genre, it was guaranteed to not be Cernu. Time to investigate. She barged into the bathroom and walked around until she found two Gryffindor girls sitting alongside the sinks.

"Can you two at least turn the music off?" Cherry requested crossing her arms.

Gem had a feeling they’d be caught by the head girl and she looked at Emerald with a little smirk. She looked back at Cherry, “Okay we can, but it’s Eddie Van Halen. Can you really resist him?” she spoke with a smirk as she blew a puff. She knew the prefects did the same thing, but Gemma supposed she could. “You could join us if you’d like?” she said. She knew Emerald’s sister and her were friends. “Live a little, and on the edge of glory.” she laughed.

Cracking her fingers, Cherry shook her head no. "I've never been into Eddie Van Halen. Even if I lived in the universe where I was allowed to listen to him growing up, I'd still be able to resist him."

Van Halen was one band she never got the appeal of. She was too busy sleeping around and studying to develop an actual taste of music.

"Okay, I guess I can join. This is my free period, but I will have to take away points and give a warning to uphold my responsibilities as Head Girl!"

She got down onto the floor across from the two. If she was going to build up rapport, Cherry would have to show she isn't a buzzkill like Faye is.
