Those two! (Narks)

Faye didn't know why but she was feeling more adventurous lately: less awkward in herself and her body, so she was wearing a two-piece in the prefect's bathroom today. She tried to convince herself that it wasn't because she'd got so much attention from James, because that would be a problem. James Potter was... James Potter after all. She couldn't actually like him, could she?

She'd filled the tub with water and suds, and lowered herself inside. Obviously, the one she was waiting for was Narks. It was very unlikely that she'd share bathwater with anyone else.

The train ride to school was among the most insufferable he's had in all the years of attending Hogwarts, and it all had to do with James Potter flirting with Faye. How dare he?! The desperation to avoid being written up stunned him. Then again, he should know that those Potter-Weasleys would do whatever it took to evade punishment whenever possible.

He entered the prefect's bathroom pleased to find that Faye was already there waiting for him. "Daring today, are we?" Narkissos was just dying to know what dirt Faye had collected so far.

Narkissos went into one of the more concealed corners to change appropriately for the tub. Once he had some swimming trunks on, he slowly stepped into the tub. "I've missed this all summer long."

"Awh. I've missed you too."

She knew that he hadn't said that, but it was nice to think that they could miss each other.

"Do you like it?" she asked, pushing some of the bubbles out of the way so he could see.

"Witty as always, Faye," Narkissos chuckled before briefly diving in to get his hair wet.

"Mm, yeah. I didn't know you owned a two-piece."

What was the spiciest thing he could think of other than the food fight?

"Louis Weasley continues to be a manwhore."

“I didn’t... or I hadn’t. I got it recently.”

She smiled a little sheepishly.

“Really? Do you really have to put it that way?” she sighed, rolling her eyes and going back to Faye mode. “I know he is overly affectionate with a lot of girls, but I don’t think there’s anything horrible in it.” She looked at him. “So... who have you heard has been with Louis?”

She got it recently? Huh. Wonder why...

Narkissos slipped deeper into the tub with his shoulders barely hitting visibility. "How else do you describe it? Nobody gets onto him about it because he's a Weasley and part-veela." How can the Head Boy be so touchy?

"Hazel Cartwright."

“Or maybe it’s because he’s a genuinely nice boy who wouldn’t harm a fly.”

Faye looked a little put off by that news, however.

“Hazel? Really?” She snorted. “I don’t know what Louis type is, but I never thought it would be a girl like Hazel. Well, if he’s supposedly a manwhore then there must be more girls than that you’ve heard about...”

They would both be dissatisfied if they went away from the bathroom without laying it all out on the table.

"You wouldn't be saying that if it was MacKenna caressing the arms and cheeks of every Jane and Pam in the castle," he responded. Although he was into more than one team, Narkissos couldn't help but notice guys in general didn't seem all that affected by Louis' veela charm.

"I don't think he has a type. There's murmurs that he slept with Matilda Riddle, who's a walking STI."

"How can you compare Louis to MacKenna? He's probably Louis's polar opposite. You couldn't get any more different than that."

Faye sighed.

"Well, I'm sure he's quite sensible Narks." But Matilda Riddle, really? She slept with anyone and everyone! "Maybe you and Chang should form a Louis hate club. I hear he has it out for him too."

"I was just saying that you wouldn't be excusing Louis' touchiness if it was any other bloke in the entire school." It was hard to argue when it came to Louis.

Hate Louis???? "I don't hate him!" Narkissos insisted holding his hands up. "I don't!" Except for when he acts a bit too friendly towards Faye. "I just like trashing our peers' sex lives."

Hm, how could he divert this gossip sesh into a more favorable direction?

"I heard James say that he has an entire waitlist of broads for escapades."

Yes, target the Potter that ruined the train ride.

Faye watched Narks defend himself, and her eyebrow raised slightly. The rest of her face stayed quite neutral. That was Faye neutral: the resting bitch face of the school.

“James does?” she asked quietly, pretending to be unshaken by the news. Of course she knew James flirted a lot, but now she didn’t really like the idea of it. Not when he’d flattered her so much the other day. “If we are going to have to start dealing with the repercussions of that...”

Urgh.

“Girls crying everywhere, urgh.”

He nodded. "He admitted to it himself. Heard it with my own eyes and ears." Narkissos was at the point of being willing to do anything to make Potter seem less magical to Faye; in the event of them actually doing something, he'd likely end up losing it out of jealousy.

"He has no care for how girls feel... I have it on good authority that he only does anal."

She shuddered. Her attraction for him suddenly plummeted. Doing something like that wasn't on her cards. She couldn't disguise the look of disgust she had.

"I suppose that's because he doesn't want to get a girl pregnant or something," she said, narrowing her eyes. How horrible. "I can't speak for every girl, but I imagine that most wouldn't want to do that."

"There's contraception in the hospital wing," Narkissos pointed out as he tried to add two and two together. The main purpose of bringing James up was to make him less appealing. "He's not into positions involving looking at a girl in the face either. Just odd with how many he flirts with."

Anal only. No looking at them. No actual relationships. Sirens were going off in his brain. He was going to have to return to that later. "Did you see that Atticus has returned to Hogwarts?"

"I see where you're going with that... But I don't know. It's hard to believe..." Or maybe she didn't want to believe it. No, that wasn't it. Narkissos had successfully put her off of James.

"Oh, I know, I didn't recognise him at first," she said, "He's... I don't know. More subdued than what I remember? And in the common room you should see him. He can't sit still. He's always arranging and rearranging things, looking like he's going to explode if he sits down for more than a minute. It's weird. I feel sorry for him, though."

"I didn't realize he had come back to Britain until we were on the train honestly."

Narkissos didn't realize just how ugly the Nott household was until Atticus was suddenly pulled out of Hogwarts and sent afar; how was Alayna able to deal with such a father?

"I heard he went to a more militaristic school. I don't think it was Durmstrang."

@Faye Phiera

"No, I don't think it was either. I heard him saying that he had no idea where he was, and that there were wizards from all sorts of nationalities there. Imagine being forced to go somewhere just because of something you have no choice in..."

She cringed.

"Maybe Alayna will be more pleasant now that she has him back. Speaking of her, someone said she was flirting with James." Back to James Potter again...

Narkissos shuddered thinking about it. "I'm glad my dad isn't like that, but I guess years of living with muggles allowed him to be more tolerant." Not being part of the Sacred 28 played a role.

"Flirting with James? Was she desperate? Do you know what went down?"

Faye shook her head.

"Not really." She folded her arms at the side of the pool and kicked her legs out behind her, leaning her chin on her forearm. "I think he was encouraging it, though. Maybe she... agreed to doing it with him in that position. Who knows? I think she'd likely to do something like that."

She snorted.

"You think they fucked?"

It wasn't impossible. After all, a lot of their gossiping ended up being speculation at a certain point.

"We'll have to see which one would admit to it."

@Faye Phiera

"Well... I expect we will know for certain soon enough. James is usually very vocal about his sex life. It's almost as if he's trying to cover something up."

Faye looked at Narks. Perhaps there was something there. At least she didn't have to feel like such a dimwit for falling for his charms if he was gay.

"I always thought Louis would turn out to be gay..." she said absent mindedly, playing with her hair. "Narks... Who do you find the most attractive out of the boys?"

"Alayna has also gotten around a fair bit, hasn't she? One of her acquaintances would've mentioned it offhand by now..."

He slowly turned his head over to Faye and raised an eyebrow.

"Hmm... Since I'm immune to Louis' veela charm, I'd have to go with James..."

And he wasted all that energy fuming over him flirting with Faye...

"Oh really?"

She giggled.

"I do quite like Louis, but is it all really just the Veela thing? I don't know. I used to like Chang, but he's kind of weird. Gryffindors I'm not normally attracted to..."

"All Louis does is smile and somehow most of the girls here swoon and wet themselves over it. I don't understand it."

Narkissos never understood it. Louis was confusing. Just thinking about him made his face sour.

"James knows how to channel his charisma. Why do you think he gets so much attention outside of being a Potter?"

Ah, Chang. "Speaking of Chang, Cherry said he was being very odd in front of Louis' dorm earlier."

"But he is annoying..." Faye reminded him, thinking back to all the times they had to deal with James and his antics. There was something about him, she supposed, but it all felt rather forced.

"Oh, yes. He doesn't like Louis much. I'm not sure why he would be trying to hang around him, though. That doesn't make much sense."
