Just a quick cup (open)

Mystique sat inside Madame Puttifoots tea shop with a cup of early grey in front of her and a blueberry scone in her hand. Her sister has Athena for the afternoon, so she decided to do some shopping while she had some free time. She set her scone down and flipped the page in her book before picking up her cup and sipping from it. It felt good to just relax, to have no one needing something from her, even if just for a moment.

It was hard work being a high profile journalist in the wizarding world, especially after having to deal with her children returning to Hogwarts for term. What better way to recoup from the stress than to enjoy a lovely cup of tea and a scone or two?

After speaking to one of the employees, Edith took a seat across from another woman and sat her bag down to her side. "Good afternoon, miss," she greeted as she pulled out a planner to check her itinerary for the week.

Mystique looked up and smiled when a woman at across from her, "Good afternoon. Beautiful weather today isn't it?" She set her tea cup down and marked the page in her book before closing it. This woman initiated conversation, so she could continue it, "Mystique Vega." She said, giving her name.

"Yes, the weather is quite beautiful. It makes me want to enjoy the fresh air and not give a care in the world, but in my profession, there is no such thing as days off." Being the woman in charge of the Daily Prophet meant that it was important to always be on alert for breaking news; it was best to try and be first in the industry with headlines. "Edith Grayson, pleasure to meet you."

Her position also meant that she had to display some basic etiquette. Her practices were questionable, but she did have manners instilled.
