Dark Footsteps (Aeris)

Ceph was doing a bit of reading on some old books that we'ree in the Restricted Section in which he conned the first year into fetching and he was paying him well. He had situated himself on the couch in the common room and was keeping watching as he read every word in the book and how it made him grin. It was all sinister and he enjoyed that.

Sure he was committing about a billion school rules, but he still loved it. Broken rules got power and he wanted to keep that power very close to him right now. The sound of footsteps had left him to look up and smirk at sound of footsteps coming in.

”A little late don't you think?” he said as he kept his face locked in. Not giving the other person any eye contact.

Aeris had been hanging out and gossiping with Niall before she returned to the dorm; the last thing she wanted was to end up in detention with either Faye or Narkissos. She did not want to write lines if she could help it. Thankfully, Aeris managed to make it to the common room in time for curfew.

"Obviously not if I didn't get written up."

Cepheus continued to look at his book avoiding making eye contact. They didn’t deserve to see it and he wasn’t wasting time from a good book. Although he certainly thought they deserved to get written up for being so stupid. “It would have been nicer if you were.”

Then maybe they’d listen.

"Ugh, does somebody always piss in your cereal?" Aeris asked as she took a seat in an armchair so she could relax after walking all the way from the seventh floor.

Cepheus gave the girl a chuckle.

"Only a mudblood eats cereal, but I must ask?" he asked, "Did they piss in yours?"

Okay, did this guy ever step into a grocery store recently?

"Panis Grocers literally sells cereals with trading cards in them, so you're literally wrong."

Ugh.

Aeris scrunched her nose and shook her head. "In comparison to you, definitely not!"

Cepheus glared at the younger girl, "Do I look I shop at a Panis Grocer?" that sounded too peasant for his liking and he was not in the mood for that. He rolled his eyes, this girl really was less superior to him. No one would be dumb enough to piss in his cereal. "I would be smart enough to recognize it." he taunted. It didn't take an genius to figure that out.

"Well, most families here do," Aeris responded. She couldn't help that her family was working class! "I'm going to guess that you don't even eat oatmeal!"

Cepheus happened to enjoy oatmeal quite a bit. Although he preferred a five course meal over anything, and he would be damned if he didn't get it. "I do like a good oatmeal. But I prefer a five course meal, which I highly doubt you could truly taste." he said with a chuckle. No one except those who were rich knew just how great those meals were and how divine.
