With how much had already occurred during the start of term, James decided he was going to spend some one-on-one time with his cousin, Louis, and maybe play a few practical jokes in the process. Having a Head Boy to mess around with had its perked. Plus, he had heard rumors lately and wanted to hear it from the horse's mouth himself.

"Hey, Lou Lou!"

Louis was just coming out of the Great Hall from dinner when he was alerted by James. They hadn't spoken much since the beginning of term, he realised, so this would be a good opportunity to chat.

"Hello, James," He greeted, approaching his cousin with a smile. "Up to anything you shouldn't be?" He asked it in a light-hearted sort of way, but realised that he probably was up to something.

"Uh, duh," he replied after an initial panic. Nobody in his family knew what was going on. "How's being Head Boy going ya geezer?"

Louis chuckled.

"It's going well. There hasn't been too much disturbance for me to have to deal with," He said pointedly, as though asking James not to get any ideas. "Are you taking Blanche to Hogsmeade this weekend?"

In many ways he believed that James had feelings for Blanche and vice versa.

Louis, feeling that was a peculiar response, merely said:

"I thought you might be taking her on a date..."

On a date?

"I don't see Blanche that way."

@Louis Weasley

"Oh, right, okay."

He smiled pleasantly at him.

"So how have you been? What have you been up to so far this term?"
