The idea of power being how the world turns was something that Avice knew from a young age, and was also raised with the idea that the only power could only come from being kind, and she was the daughter of two people who were known supporters of The Order. An idea that she had despised from a young age, when she had learned that power could come from many ways other than being kind. One could say she grew up power-hungry, and shared the same ideals that her father had minus his Ravenclaw roots.

Her intelligence came from a young age, when she had surpassed her siblings in their tutoring and was told that she was going to be promising. A phrase that she knew and held close to her from a young age due to how she wanted to be great. It was no shock that when she had arrived at Hogwarts, she was placed into Slytherin. It was also where she learned the truth of the roots of her name Helga came, and it was something she despised. Although it was a thing she would use a way of finding her way in the world.

Avice’s time for Hogwarts would come with her being one of the best in her year due to how she had excelled in all of her classes. One had often mistaken her for a Ravenclaw due to her rate of intelligence, and how she had succeeded. Although her thrive for ambition had made her a true Slytherin, and her best class had been Ancient Runes, and it was a class that she would often put together with Dark Arts. Graduating from Hogwarts it was no denying that she was one of the best in her class, and would study at Nilton, where she would end up meeting a man who she’d end up spending the rest of her life with.

A man who had valued the same purists beliefs that she did, and it was no lie the two would end up becoming a power duo of some sort. It was a relationship that her parents would not at all in the slightest approve of due to how they expected her to follow The Order’s ideas, but she didn't listen, and right after she was accepted into his family. The two set out and traveled where he was making connections with some magical creatures companies due to him being very in love with creatures, and often putting them above them All while Avice had traveled as a researcher for the Ministry with Ancient Runes, and after their third trip. She had discovered she had been pregnant with their first child, and had returned to Wales, where she would soon get a huge mansion, and after having her second child, she would soon begin teaching at Hogwarts.

The position as Ancient Runes Professor was something that Avice took seriously, and also trying to incorporate the use of Dark Arts in the class. Which she’d try to use in the most legal sense, and it was safe to say that she had been one to pass her ideals, and a class that she would also hide who she was by being the hands on Ancient Runes professor, all while her husband had worked with creatures, and once the talk of the Deaths Eaters, were returning it was no lie the couple jumped on, and had done their best to raise their kids with those ideas and hoped they’d follow in their footsteps.

Now Avice Raywood is serving as the Head of Slytherin, a position she took up about twelve years ago due to her dedication to the school, and it’s a place where she is trying her darndest to make sure those kids know where they stand. Although it was no lie she is not too thrilled with how the heads are and is hoping to one day become a head and finally influence, all while trying to keep a neutral profile.
