Entertain Me (open)

Everyone seemed so startled about the things that were going on in their world, but Gabby wasn’t one of those people. She had no fear of the things that were going on around her. She knew that it was all to further the ultimate goal and she wasn’t one who feared others anyway. Though, it seemed that a lot fewer students were taking the opportunity to head down to Hogsmeade this weekend than they had in previous weekends. Gabby wasn’t about to let the things happening currently to keep her cooped up in the castle.

She wasn’t sure what she wanted to do with her time in the little village, though. She was incredibly bored… In the end she decided that she would stop at the Three Broomsticks and grab a butterbeer then she would figure out where to go from there. She did just that, sitting at the bar and ordering the drink as she looked around at the few who still frequented places like this without fear, or perhaps in spite of it.

James hsd never felt so free or so accepted in a while. He was married and the mentoring thing was going pretty well; he found himself admiring Lochlan's approach and caring nature. Strolling through Hogsmeade, James was pleasantly surprised that the roads were rather easy to navigate through for once. Wouldn't hurt to get some lunch while he was out to run some errands.

Entering the Three Broomsticks, he was yet again stunned by how it wasn't as busy as normal. It was quite nice though. A smile grew on his face when he spotted Gabriella; he was wondering if he would ever get to chat with her again. "I hope you're Gabriella otherwise I'd be very wrong."

Gabriella heard a voice that was somewhat familiar to her now as she sat there with her butterbeer. She turned her head to see that James had approached her. A smile tugged at her lips as she nodded. "No, you're not wrong." She said with a laugh. She knew that her father had more or less taken James under his wing, and she thought that it would probably be best for her to make friends as well. Why not?

"You here to get lunch?" She asked curiously as she looked to the empty barstool beside her. "It's pretty empty and lonely in here, I could use some company." Gabby could be friendly when the need arose, and this seemed like as good a time as any.

James nodded as he took a seat on the other bar stool. "Haven't seen so few people here since never." He looked up at the menu trying to brainstorm what he wanted to get.

"So, uh, what are some things you like?" Awkward James has made a comeback. "Music's pretty cool."
