renegade ((cassandra))

Min-ji decided to meet up with Cassandra after witnessing all of the commotion that had been going on throughout all of wizarding Britain; she was already becoming skeptical of the current administration's motives, but the lack of order was going too far. She needed something strong after nearly being pummeled by some hexes just to even get to the pub. Hopefully her colleague would get here unscathed.

Cassandra wasn't surprised that the world fell to hell as soon as the social contract that kept the world together had been discarded. It was like the government was actively pushing the populace towards their darker impulses. She could see the strategy in it, weaken the populace to make their coup easier to hold.

It was working in a sense, as Knockturn Alley was in full chaos, some of which bled out into Diagon Alley. It made getting to her meetup with Min-Ji quite the adventure, but decades of experience on both sides of conflicts meant that she did arrive unscathed. Taking a seat across from her compatriot, Cassandra started up the conversation, "So things are quite insane out there."

"Very insane. I'd ask if the administration is nuts, but you and I both know the answer to that." Min-ji took a sip of her firewhiskey as she looked out of the closest window. "At this point, I'd prefer to be under martial law..."

@Cassandra Night

Cassandra scoffed a little bit at Min-ji's comment. "I will always prefer lax, but insane government to martial law. Means I get to get away with so much more," Cassandra stated, a small smile on her face as she though of what she had been doing during her nights.

Min-ji attempted to silence the chaos that could be heard through the walls. "How's some of our colleagues? It's been too surreal. I think some of them have been attempting to work at home..."

@Cassandra Night

"I don't keep much contact with our colleges, except for whoever my point of contact is in my current case, and with everything going on, there aren't many interesting cases. It's been nice to have some free time," Cassandra comments, think towards the activities that have been filling her free time.
