Too quiet (invite)

Everything was just too quiet since school had started back up. Claudia knew that Dominique was dealing with a family emergency. Which was sad, she had liked Louis on the couple of occasions she had met him before knowing that he was Dominique’s brother. She wasn’t sure how she was going to handle things when they actually started working... Claudia knew loss all too well, but that didn’t mean that she knew how to help someone else with grief. She had barely dealt with her own at losing her parents. Either way, she knew that she couldn’t just hide out at her brother’s house. Everyone else was up at Hogwarts, she was the only one staying at the house and she was bored out of her mind.

So, despite Javier’s warnings that she needed to stay in until things straightened back out, she couldn’t do it. Maybe something would happen and she would regret it... but she had to take that chance or go completely stir crazy in this house. It was an easy decision as she apparated herself to Diagon Alley. The Leaky Cauldron was always a nice place to grab a butter beer and a bite to eat. And it seemed safe enough to her. She walked into the crowded pub, looking around to try to find a place to sit, she hadn’t expected it to be this busy...

Pietro was working his shift and shockingly it was busier then normal. He worked this job when they needed him and he had off from his other bartending job, so when he saw a new customer come in and was looking for a seat, he gestured to the seat at the bar that had just opened. "There's a seat over here" he said to her.

Claudia just noticed the seat at the bar that had opened up just as the bartender called out to her and told her there was a seat there. She smiled as she took the seat, at least she wouldn't have to worry about this place being too quiet like it was at home with everyone gone for school. "I hadn't expected for there to be this many people here." She said with a laugh. "Almost thought I was going to have to leave because there were no seats." She said as she made her drink decision, deciding it was a fire whiskey kind of evening.

Pietro was kind of stunned by all the people that were there that night but it meant more tips for him and it was something that he needed with his daughter. "You're just as shocked but glad you didn't leave, this place is the place to be right now" he said as he got her drink and gave it to her.
