It all happened in a flash. One moment she was in her office trying to finish up some evaluations. The next she was outside of Hogwarts castle with all of her possessions and her job stripped from her. Camille couldn't understand why; she had worked so hard to get to where she was, and she genuinely enjoyed being there for all of Hogwarts' students. What could she possibly do now?

Sitting in between buildings, Camille was crying not sure of what she was going to do next. She felt lost.

Hogsmeade, even in it's proximity to the largest institution in magical Britian, most of the time was a pleasantly quiet place to get some writing done, which was something that Allison always appreciated about the place. With a deadline looming, Allison had set herself up in her usual booth at the Hog's Head, where she wouldn't be bothered, settling in her routine of 50 minutes of work, a 10 minute walk outside before diving straight back into it.

During one of her breaks, Allison noticed the a woman sitting between building, crying. It didn't take more than a second for her to recognized the woman in front of her, and Allison's nose sniffed a story, but she also knew when it was time to be just a human, rather than a reporter, and this was one of those time. Gently walking up to the woman, she quietly asks, "You okay?"

Camille looked up after hearing the voice of another woman. She shook her head and sighed. "I was just fired from my post for no apparent reason..." She started crying yet again reminding herself of it. Who did she unintentionally anger for that to happen?

Allison slumped against the wall beside Camille. "From what I've been looking into, I can make a guess at the reason why you were let go, you aren't a part of whatever organization has been making power plays recently," Allison relayed, giving a small insight into what she had been researching recently.

"The Ministry replaced Snape and I with their own people... I'm just shocked." She thought Hogwarts was supposed to be a safe haven. Was it not the case anymore?

@Allison Sabitz

Allison just sat there for a minute, processing the information, before responding, "Honestly, I'm not. What about what this current administration says that they are going to be playing by any of the social conventions that defined previous conflicts. They've lifted all laws for a month, they made murder legal. What about this screams normal to you?"

@Camille Voclain

"Nothing... I just assumed Hogwarts would always remain a safe haven..."

She was distraught over the entire year so far.

@Allison Sabitz

"That's what it always symbolized, hasn't it, safety. The pretense lost a lot of shine many years ago, and I imagine this is going to remove that varnish from a lot of people's perception of Hogwarts," Allison stated, putting a little of her own feelings on the place out in front of a former denizen of the place.

Camille nodded.

"If Hogwarts isn't safe, is there any place that is?"

@Allison Sabitz

"The places we fight for. Safety is never a thing given, it is a thing that is fought for," Allison states.

@Camille Voclain

That was true she supposed.

"How many people have to get hurt or die before something gets done?"

@Allison Sabitz

"Well, considering that it won't be the government that does the revolution, it will be however many people to get someone line you to take up arms," Allison sates, cynicism sliding off her tongue alongside the words.

Was she really too passive? Camille always took a nonviolent approach to everything; she wouldn't even dare to hurt a fly.

"It just saddens me to see the world turn for the worst. It hasn't even been 30 years..."
