why ((faye))

First topic message reminder :

After discovering that Urban Cup was open 24/7, Narkissos had sent a message to Faye to meet him there. He had discovered some very tragic news, and he couldn't think he could keep it together to celebrate the holidays. Who else could he turn to? It was also a shame they couldn't just discuss in the comfort and privacy of the prefect's bathroom, but he had to make do.

He stood outside of the coffee shop all bundled up waiting for Faye.

@Faye Phiera

"More reason to do it."

Faye grinned, and held up her hand.

"Can we get some drinks? And... maybe a cheesecake? Or a sponge cake? Yes - but we'll take the whole cake, please. And two forks."

Faye then proceeded to ask about the peppermint tea, but the server still seemed bewildered by the 'one cake and two forks' request.

"Maybe we should both just get really fat." She laughed.

"I'm sure I've already seen some rubbish about me written on the walls anyway."

She sighed, then smiled.

"Well. We'll be fat together."

Narkissos chuckled.

"Guess we will. What flavor is the cake or is it just random?"

It felt strange to actually do something on the spot for once.

Faye opened her mouth, but the cake came. The beverages came. Two forks were given out to them. Faye laughed at the size of it.

"Hmm... it looks like it's caramel. Or honeycomb? Maybe it's fudge?"

She giggled.

"I'm tempted to just bury my face in it!" She was actually having a good time doing this... spontaneous stuff.

"Let's find out what flavor it is."

Narkissos picked up one of the forks and started digging into the cake. He took a bite and muttered in surprise, "Seems to be a spiced apple cake. Very autumn-y."

She tried some herself, it was very good.

"Mmm... that frosting stuff though. That's amazing..."

She wondered if she would be able to replicate anything like it. Probably not...

"I can actually imagine you baking cakes with an apron on like a little '50s housewife..."

He looked over at Faye with a slightly puzzled expression.

"A '50s housewife? That's a first of all the things you've compared me to."

What would Faye be in that sort of situation?

"You'd be the working mom that uses some American Muggle thing called Hamburger Helper."

"Hamburger helper?" She asked, snorting. It sounded funny. "I've never heard of that before, but I guess it's self-explanatory?" Hamburger helper. She wanted to google that when she got home now.

She helped herself to more cake.

"Hmm... what else could I compare you to? One of those handsome librarians who hates people abusing his books..."

"It's true though."

She giggled.

"You're also that Ministry man who gets insulted every time he's asked to do menial tasks..."

Well, that would probably be true.

"How am I ending up eating more of the cake than you?"

"What?"

She looked down at the cake. There was a good portion that had already disappeared.

"Wow... impressive." She desperately tried to keep up with him. It wasn't too sweet, which made it easier to eat. "So... I think we should make an agreement."
