Can't we just get along? (Faye)

Carina walked down the hall with Alayna and Serena behind her. She was stressed out a bit over the whole Faye thing when it came to Louis. She sighed as she tried to think of solutions to fix the problem. She turned a corner and frowned when she saw Faye. She didn't feel like dealing with it right now, but she knew she would be forced to eventually. She told the girls to go on without her and walked up to Faye "can we talk?"

Faye had just broke up an argument between two third-year students, and was actually hoping to get something to eat. But, of course, she was facing another delay. It wasn't a welcome one, either. Carina Malfoy annoyed her for more reasons than one, and this year she had become a complete thorn in her side. Faye was on Narks's side when it came to her.

She sighed dramatically.

"Fine. Talk." She lifted her hand and dropped it to her side, testing her with raised eyebrows. Bring it, then.

"I want to call a truce" Carina said blowing off the fact that Faye obviously had an attitude in her voice, "For Louis, if nothing else. I know me and you fighting stresses him out. I don't like it when he's stressed" she said pushing some hair out of her face

"It's not like I intentionally go around picking fights with you. That's a bit over-dramatic."

As far as she was concerned, Carina was a drama queen. Then there was Louis, who was quite the opposite.

"I don't think you suit each other, if I'm being completely honest," She began, fixing her eyes squarely onto the younger girl. "And don't start thinking that's just because of some stupid Weasley - Malfoy feud thing. Other people agree with me, you know. I'm not the only one." Faye folded her arms across her chest.

"frankly it's not anybody else's business. If they think we're wrong for eachother, whatever. Louis and I are happy. We fit together well" she said with a sly smirk, knowing what had happened between her and Louis and also knowing Faye had no idea about it, "Louis had no complaints about me and him not suiting eachother when we explored the shrieking shack"

Faye sighed loudly.

"Ever hear of 'too much information'?" She asked, crossly. Then she closed her eyes, opened them again, and tried to calm herself. The entire Carina-Louis fiasco was draining her, and she had a lot of other things on her mind right now.

"I'm never going to like you," She assured her, "But I can be civil where Louis is concerned." It was the more mature thing to do, right? "We can just stay out of each other's way."

"Don't really care." Carina said to her statement about too much information. She crossed her arms and looked at her, silently judging, as she listened to her, "I don't give a damn if you like me or not. I don't want my boyfriend upset. So yeah, you stay away from me and I will stay away from you."
