Before I met you (Open)

Haven had been looking for the music professor to talk to him about possibly taking on the apprenticeship that the program offered. She entered the room and saw that it was empty. But she did see a beautiful piano sitting there. She smiled as she approached it. It practically begged to be played. She sat in front of it, placing her hands softly on the keys before beginning to play the song that had won her her first Grammy. She let the words flow from her voice from ours memory, a smile on her face as she got lost in the music.

After spending some time redoing his makeup in a nearby bathroom, Cernunnos skipped through the corridors excited about the dance that was coming up; he wouldn't have a date, but that was fine as he was there to dance and enjoy hanging with his friends! He was going to have to see which of his friends wanted his opinion for last-minute dress shopping. Hearing some music, he followed the melody into the music classroom. Huh, he never actually went inside that room before.

At the conclusion of the song, Cernunnos went up towards the piano. "You have a nice voice~!"

Haven looked up when she heard someone enter the room and smiled at them, "Thank you. I would really hope so. I'm Haven Munroe. It's nice to meet you." She said, closing the piano shut and stretching her arms out a bit, "Do you play?"
It would be nice to make some new friends that appreciated music like she did.

"Ohhh, I think I heard of you on Twitter~!" He never listened to her music as it wasn't exactly his cup of tea; Cernunnos was more into divas like Kylie or Janet. Shaking his head, he replied, "Nope! I just listen and dance to music while partying~!"

"You've probably come across it once or twice." She said, moving her hair from her face. For some reason, Haven got a bit nervous when she was recognized by her peers. She couldn't help the laugh that left her throat, "You seem like a party type of guy."

Cernunnos nodded. Wow, it was surreal to be going to the same school as some pop girl! She wasn't a Celestina Warbeck or anything, but it was still cool to think about! "I am~! There was one at the start of term that was reallyyyyyyyyy fun. There was sooooo much drama though!"

There had been a party? She might have not been back at school yet. She had been a few days late due to her tour running long. "I'll have to try and catch the next one. I think I heard some sort of whispers of an after party for after that dance that's coming up."

"Oooh, an after party~? I'll have to look into it!" Cernunnos hadn't decided what he'd wear to the dance and to the alleged after-party. Smiling, he clasped his hands together. "If you need dress advice, I'm here to help~!" He noticed a lot of girls at Hogwarts valued his input.

"Yeah. I think it's being thrown by some Slytherin girl? Carrie? Carrow? Something like that. She seemed pretty cool." Haven said, not remembering many names other than the people she was close to at the school. Which consisted mostly of her siblings. "Dress advice?" Was there something wrong with how she was dressed? It was a simple red t shirt with a pair of jeans and a black jacket.

Cernunnos nodded hearing the name; he figured she'd likely be cool with him attending as most were. He would have to make sure to ask her about it later. "Yessss~! For the dance~! I haven't figured out what the overall trend yet, but I've heard many mentions of color!" He would have to figure out her undertones; red was obviously an option going by her hair.

"Oh right. Of course. I would love help. I usually have a team of stylists to help me. And I wouldn't want to look foolish." She said, being a bit overly honest, "I look really good in red, green and purple." She said, listing off the colors she liked to wear the most, "And occasionally I can pull off a nice yellow."

"A team of stylists? I hope they actually dress you well at events as I've seen sooooooooo many tragic looks on social media! How are my faves supposed to serve when they look like messes~?" Cernunnos was very into fashion and often pondered how extravagant he could go by combining it with magic. "Oooooh~! Mardi Gras colors! Loves it~!" Humming to himself, he lightly picked up a strand of her hair. "I think you should go with a sequin mini dress! Guaranteed to stand out~!"

"Well. I have yet to find myself on a worst dressed list. So I guess they do an alright job." She said with a smile. He was so extra. She loved it. He was who he was and there was no changing that. She appreciated that kind of attitude. She realized her best colors were indeed the colors of Mardi gras, "A mini dress? Isn't that alot of skin?" Haven was still finding her place at the school after being gone so long. Did she really wanna go that big for her first event back?

"You could always pair it with stockings and a cute jacket~!" Hmmm... "I haven't figured out what I'm going to wear~! There's too many options!"
