wonderland (thorin)

Lucy had been cooking dinner for herself in the kitchen. Nothing in the great hall had really pleased her tonight, and she liked to cook her own food every now and then. She was using charms to help her cook and had been thinking about making a famous muggle pasta that was one of her favorite things.

She had been cooking, and snacking on some of the treats the house elves left. She hoped no one would bother her, and let her cook in peace. She liked it a lot and was one of the many things she enjoyed about Hogwarts. She heard someone come in and she looked up.

"I am cooking leave me alone."

Thorin was not someone who would pass up an evening snack run in the kitchens. The house elves always left out some delicious goodies and he had to admit that he had a bit of a sweet tooth. So, he had decided after practice to head to the kitchen for a snack before going to the Hufflepuff common room. He had worked hard at practice so he thought he deserved it. He walked into the kitchen to find that he wasn’t alone like he had expected. Lucy Weasley stood there cooking something that smelled amazing. But when she looked up, it wasn’t a welcoming smile on her face but rather a look that seemed a bit annoyed. Then she more or less told him to get lost. ”Just grabbing a couple of cookies then I’ll be on my way.” he said as he moved over to a plate of cookies on the counter and grabbed a few.

Lucy had just wanted to be left alone sometimes and not bothered by anyone. She looked at the person who she knew to be Thorin Munroe, from the Munroe clan. He was attractive, but that crowd had been a little bit too wild for her own good at times and she didn't like that at times.

"Sorry, I just thought you were someone messing around. Students like to take advantage."

She went back to what she was cooking, which had been a Taco Pasta, and she put it over into a streamer, and began to dump some of the water out. Her grandmother taught her well.

"I am making Taco Pasta."

Thorin grabbed a few cookies from the plate, planning to leave right after since Lucy had made it very clear that she didn't want company. Then she changed her story after he had told her that he would leave. He smiled over at her. "Nah, just stopping in for a snack after practice." Thorin was like a lovable Golden Retriever when it came down to it. He was friendly, outgoing, maybe a little rambunctious, but he had his heart in the right place.

Thorin leaned against a counter out of the way when she moved through the kitchen and explained what she was making. "That sounds good." He couldn't remember ever having a taco pasta. Tacos were one of his favorite foods though.

Lucy had given him a huge smile on her face. “You can stay if you want I know I came off as a bitch.” she pointed out as she finally had her Taco Pasta done. It smelled good and had her excited to try some and all she could think about was trying to gobble it down and putting her mind at ease. “Do you play Quidditch?”
