Her short heels clinked against the hard floor as she stepped out into the waiting room of the A&E; normally, she worked in spell damages, but some of the healers were either out sick or on vacation, so Millicent had to help cover some ground. Although it was disappointing to not see Gilderoy Lockhart's face this shift, at least the cases in the A&E were bound to be more exciting.

Being a healer had its boring moments. There were treatments she could do in her sleep without thought. Some of her fellow healers were intolerable to be around, especially some of the interns. Millicent could never understand how Louis Weasley could smile at the most disgusting of scenarios on the job. There were days when Millicent struggled to put on a reassuring smile and give proper bedside manners because of how a patient ended up in St. Mungo's in the first place.

Millicent had a clipboard in hand as she announced somebody's name and stated, "Follow me, and I'll get you checked out."

She glanced around the room, waiting for them to get up. Hopefully this patient wasn't the one with a few spliced limbs from apparating under the influence..
