• Became an Auror a few years after the death of his wife. Although he takes the job very seriously and wishes to be a good role model to his children, there have been times where he has "accidentally overlooked" some of his old friends' illegal, dark possessions. He always does this at a cost: warning them that he won't overlook things a second time.
  
• The second wizarding war had a profound impact on Draco, who was glad to abandon his former values and way of life and adapt to a more open-minded, accepting one. It hasn't always been straight forward, and sometimes he finds himself regressing to certain mindsets he had before, but they are often very short lived.
  
• Draco was one of the Aurors who captured and detained Theodore Nott following his use of an unforgivable on his son last Christmas.
  
• He isn't really a part of the pureblood community anymore and never expected his children to adhere to those traditions. While he did take them to a few formal events over the years, he put a stop to that following an argument he had with a former classmate who hadn't changed their views.
  
• He still tries very hard to redeem himself and his family, hoping that none of his children ever turn out to be as nasty and uncompromising as he was.
