When Serena was young, ehr parents were killed on an extremely dangerous hunting mission. She was only 5 at the time and she didnt understand much of it. She just knew she went to live with her aunt Clary and that her parents were dead. She didnt ask alot of questions about her parents death, not until she got older.

When Serena turned 11, she got her letter for illvermony and her aunt told her about how her parents died. It was at that moment she decided to continue her parents legacy once she got older and would become a hunter. She vowed to make them proud in everything she did from that moment on.
